Target: More Possible 90% Off Summer Clearance
Wowie! In addition to all the awesome Summer Clearance finds at Target that I posted about earlier here, Hip2Save reader, Ashley, was able to snag even more amazing clearance bargains! She snagged fantastic deals on marshmallows, floats for the pool, Pillsbury Pink Lemonade cake mix and frosting… plus, so much more! Note that you’ll want to price check all clearance and seasonal items that you spot, as they may ring up for less than they’re marked.

I checked my store here in So Cal and nothing summer was on sale. Maybe because summers here lasts till October?!

The one in Westminster mall had some summer things marked down this weekend, but nothing this great.
The Temecula store had their summer stuff at 70% off but there was barely anything left 🙁 So sad…….
Some of our stuff was 70% and some was still at 50% here in Charlotte. There wasn’t much left at all! I can’t imagine anything would be left to make it to 90%. Awesome for those of you who get lucky though!
Just got back from a Target here in Austin, nothing that I could find more than 30% off :/

Our Target opens tomorrow so I doubt there will be ANY clearance at all,lol.
Normal mark down days are Wednesday or Thursday for toys and seasonal. Hold out hope! 🙂

nothing for summer on the shelf, wierd! Also any stuff on the end are no more than 15%, also the sunscreen people are talking about, it’s still $13!!! It’s Polaris, Columbus, OH.
I went to a Target in San Antonio today and they had BOXES FULL of cake mixes and frostings, all for $0.16 and $0.15, respectively. But the swimming stuff was still only marked down to 30%, I even scanned just to make sure..
Which Target did you go to? The one in The Forum had the cake mixes, but they were 50 cents. And I found the chalks, but they weren’t marked down as much as in this post.

I found squirt guns for .99 origanally 9.99, garden tool sets for .49, racket balls for .49, a pitcher for .79 and icing for .29 that was in boardman ohio
I was able to score some 90% off deals at Target this morning in N. Texas but the shelf was bare within a few minutes. Receipt says I saved $123 and spent $9.52 out of pocket.
Mine had stuff at 70% of, but nothing much good. I did get an umbrella that fits on back of a beach chair for $2.00. It wasn’t marked so they let me have it for that price. I go to the Target in Delran, NJ.
Oh my god! I’m really wanting to get to Target, especially for sunblock. But I’m stuck in the house. Hopefully I find great things tomorrow.
Check in the toy section for single banzai waterslides that ring up for 99 cents. We got lucky there.

Hoses 50′ (brand RE, orange and green color) rang $0.99, regular $9.99. They were not marked and were located in a regular garden isle and not in the summer clearance section.

One Fremont store already sent their summer stuff to consignment this morning 🙁 My other two had stuff at 90% but pretty cleaned out.

Albany store had one end cap of 90% off with not much left. I got one cookie mix, a golf club and balls, and a big pack of foam shapes — mix was 18 cents and the other two were 29 cents. The cashier told me she was surprised there were any cookie mixes left as people had been buying them 40 and 50 at a time!
I just went to 3 stores here in the Bay Area..cleaned out..nothing left!! So bummed
I got two of doubled pack of sport in 30spf spray coppertone with the stick for $1.39. Plus I used $5/2 mf and $1 tq.
The target near me in Vegas said 70% but rang up 90%. This store often doesn’t have the correct signs out. Also, things like the glue sticks 6 for .99 were still marked 2.79 but rang up the .99! Thanks for posting your deals everyone! It helps to know what to look for! 🙂

I went this evening and got several packs of the Pink Lemonade cake mix and frosting at 90% off. It was in the regular aisle. Sadly, the summer clearance was only towels at 30% off and few kid garden gloves at 70% off.
I really wanted sunscreen but didn’t find any (I searched through the clearance and regular aisles). In the clearance section, there were Coppertone single bottles for 30% off. The twin packs of Coppertone didn’t have a mini freebie (those were full price) and the Up+Up sunscreen were twin packs (not a 3pack). I will try another Target tomorrow morning.
Has anyone been to any stores in louisville ky? I hate to drive the 30 miles if no clearance.

I got a badmitton set (two rackets and two birdies) and a popsicle making set (you pour in juice and freeze it) for $0.95 total! My store was pretty picked over.
Weird thing–all the patio stuff that used to be 70-90% off is now back to full price. Glad I got myself an umbrella at 70% off a few weeks ago!
Only 70% off at my store and there was nothing worth buying….even if it had been 90% off.
Just got back from my store, in Winter Park, FL…. there were some things left but before I left I went back by and it was pretty much wiped out…. wouldn’t make a trip there now.
here in metrodetroit, i tried 2 different stores – almost everything was gone at 70% off.

Since I buy prizes for VBS and Bible Club, I stopped by our local Target after hearing about the find. Summer clearance wasn’t marked yet, but I stumbled upon a grocery cart loaded with assorted summer items marked with a “clearance” poster. I cleaned out the 90% items of Chalkaroos (29c per 3pack) and Justice League items (10c – 29c). This morning must have been inventory day too because they were smacking clearance labels on all kinds of food items as well. By the time we clearance shopped ourselves out (my 8 yr old daughter is the red clearance tag spotter), we saved $190!! Very happy!!! Big thanks for the super tip! 🙂
So I just got back from target and both my targets had absolutely nothing in the 90% clearance section. I then just started to walk around and found some great deals (thanks to above posters and luck). Found the 1) Banzai Drench Blast Attack Water Slide for .99. Found with all the regular water slides not marked 2) justice League Batman deluxe swim gear regular price $18.99, clearance 1.98. This was in the girls section, near Barbie, dolls. It is a batman mask, swim fins and webbed gloves. Super cool! Also not marked. 3) jelly Belly manual ice shaver and tons of snow cone accessories. Unmarked and near the kitchen area. Maker was $1.98. Accessories were .79 and .49. For that price it’s ok if it doesn’t work well (which I am assuming it won’t lass to one since it s manual) 4) I found that the (miracle bubble) guns were the only ones on sale. Of course I didn’t see any in regular bubble aisle but just kept my eyes out and found 2 laying around .49 each. And finally was the Coppertone. I scanned every twin pack I found that had a face stick, or lotion or something. Nothing was on sale until I just scanned a Coppertone Sport two pack. Came up to 1.39. It was a spray and a lotion two pack with nothing else in it. And of course I had 3 coupons for a total of $12 off my bill. Hope this helps anyone who may still be heading to target today!
Oh, how I dread these posts. Our stores tend to take much longer to reduce merchandise, and I swear when these posts come out, people RUN to Target to score . . . 50%. I made the rounds to four over the weekend and everything was at 50% and there was tons. Today, I had to pick up something, so I checked some of the same stores, and summer was wiped out. Please, Virginia Target customers, hold out on clearance! If everyone buys everything at 50%, there won’t be anything to get to 90%!

Just went to Long Island, ny store…. Lots of 90% off items…. Got kids garden tools, wiffle balls, beach ball, floats. The slides weren’t ringing up at 90% off
My target in Massachusetts usually never has these great deals when I go so imagine my surprise when I found a few items! I did search in and out of the aisles and in the clearance type areas, we found some watering cans for maybe $0.60 and children’s yard gloves for $0.40 and placemats at $0.19 each (good to let them paint over instead of newspaper). We found marshmallows, some Pillsbury Pink Lemonade boxes but mostly weird items – gum on clearance, Junior Mints were $0.38 a box, no suntan lotion on sale for us. I scanned many.
Went back to Long Island store and the red and green RE hoses 50 ft are ringing up 99 cents
Anyone in the Upstate NY area? I’ve been to 3 targets and none of the summer seasonal items are marked down at all yet. 🙁
