awesome deal…thanks!!
That black and blue burger looks AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to try it!
Glad they have one for us non meat eaters!
are you sure? I read that as a burger with mushrooms on it, rather than a mushroom burger 🙁
Crap! Well a cheap lunch for my son….I let him cheat every once in a while!
It is a portabella “burger”… no meat.
I should clarify… they said they could make it without the meat, and just do the mushrooms w/toppings.
Wow! What a yummy buy!
Love that you wrote “plus tip!” Thrifty doesn’t have to mean cheap 🙂
i remember last year when they offered coupons. i got all of them and their burgers are really good always. once the ff were stale,. i should have sent them back but i didn’t. i would next time though if they were that stale again. i LOVE <3 this deal/ can't wait till tomorrow when it starts 🙂
Just returned from RT’s. To clarify, the only meal that is $8.99 is the Portabella “burger” (no meat). The other three real burgers are $9.49. (Still not bad) I was really looking forward to this sandwich as I’ve had Dunkin Donuts’ new Roast Beef Pretzel Roll sandwich, which is great! However, the two versions of rolls are nothing alike. I was a little disappointed as the RT’s pretzel roll was not up-to-par to use on a burger. It was not toasted (or not enough) and too thin to handle the LARGE amount of grease and tomato juice that accumulated on the plate, so it soaked it all up and left the bun soggy and very difficult to handle. On the upside, the flavor combo was pretty good (I got the bacon/cheese) and the burger (meat) itself was cooked very well. FYI- the bacon/mustard mayo has an unexpected kick to it. I added on the salad bar for $2.99 and filled up on that, ate 1/4 of the burger and a few fries, and took home the rest for lunch tomorrow. My meal, one kid’s meal, and a generous tip was still only $18… and I have lunch for tomorrow. So, if you’re craving a great pretzel roll sandwich, go to DD. If you’re looking for an inexpensive meal out with pretty good food and a good salad bar, take advantage of the RT’s deal. Also, they accepted the code without a printed coupon. I just took the code from the email and wrote it on the top of the receipt. No problems at all processing the coupon. I did share my critique (above) with the waitress and manager (they both asked!) and they were receptive. This is a new product line for them, so I’m sure there will be some kinks to work out.
I agree with with you Jen. There was a lot going on with the burger and it was hard to pick up. I tried the jalepeno one and although it was good I wasn’t all that impressed with it.
Thanks looking forward to receiving this coupon. I love Ruby Tuesdays.
Looking forward to trying your Spicy jalepeno pretzel cheesebuger
