Thx! Been on the lookout for a quiet pencil sharpener at a good price. Hope it IS quiet.

Seems like an awful lot of “it stopped working after 3 pencils” reviews, I think I’ll pass on this one

Totally unrelated but today only use code SOAKUP to get $10 off of $20 at livingsocial. I bought 2 $10 gimme clips vouchers worth $32 each for $10 total. If you buy this voucher, please use my link. Thanks.

I actually JUST got this in the mail today. I paid $9.99 for it. I’ve already sharpened a pack of Generals Semi-Hex pencils without a problem. These are top notch pencils so not sure how it will act with cheapies. Such a nice relief from sharpening with a manual sharpener, especially since I’m left handed and sharpeners are made for right handers!

I have one I purchased last year. This year while we were sharpening pencils for school the shavings got stuck up top and it got overheated. We thought we had emptied it out in between but I guess some stayed up there. The pencils were coming out black. It was a pain but we were able to clear it out.
