LOL, how many bras/panties/underwear/perfumes does one person need? I mean, really? I have a week’s worth of panties, and then 1 bra from Walmart that is 4 years old, because I don’t need more than one, and can’t afford to buy multiples. I wash it twice a week and it’s now falling apart so necessity is why I’ll purchase one next payday. VS is one of those “waste” of a stores I think (like Bath and Body Works). So much money wasted on things that could be put to better purchase use or saved. They make so much money off folks! Sorry to vent. I WISH I had money to spend…although I wouldn’t be buying anything here.

How many times a week do you wash your 1 bra? I hate repeating bras more than 2 times – aired out and not worn at least a day apart. That’s one cause of bad body odor.

Everyone has that thing they enjoy! I’m like you- I have a weeks worth of organic cotton panties and 2 organic cotton bras (one is convertible). My husband and I were super poor when we got married and had nearly a quarter mil in student debt- now we’re doing much, much better but still hold our frugal life style. That being said, I don’t judge anyone for what they buy because its their money! Though, it’s hard to teach my kids things like “put that extra $20 towards your mortgage” (they have a LARGE play house they’re “paying off” – it was a combined present and excellent life lesson) when their friends are spending their cash like crazy.
I cannot have just one bra. Too many shirts with different designs that require multiple bras. Plus I don’t have time to wash more than once a week. And only a week of panties? Forget about it! More the merrier.
This is how I feel about iphones and ipods. I have a cell but rarely use it and almost never text. To each his own…
I was also going to say that my fave bras used to be from Walmart at $12 each. But then they stopped selling them. Now the only kind of bra that fits me right is VS Angels. I hate it but I have wasted too much $ buying ones that wouldn’t fit right. So I would rather splurge on one that fits and I can use it for years and years.
when families are wasting their money the way they want you should think it not say it. and it isn’t going out and spending on something they don’t need. I think women need underwear and bras. and if I could afford a nice bra I would instead of ones that are a pain on me to wear. you cant wear cheap bras. they will cause you pain
When you are a C or D-cup and love to look great, you really do need good, quality bras. I realize not everyone cares about how they look, but having the right bra will honestly make your tops look better, have your friends asking what your secret is, and boost your self-confidence! I’ve been wearing VS Very Sexy pushups since I was in high school and this is one item I will always splurge on because I feel it’s worth it. Bras that are unsupportive are not good for your back, either, so you can look at it as saving that money that you’d have spent on Dr. bills 🙂
I am confused why comparing walmart bra to VS bra. Bra is a product contains techniques.You never tried VS bra you’d never know how well fit it is. Walmart bra although is cheaper but I think VS bras are well worth the money if you truly love your breast and your beauty. I always see girls rushing in grocery store and their breast jumping like bunny. I mean, your breast need more support than that. Really! The power of gravity is awful. Also, I believe a person has five bras take turns to wear them and wash them maybe once every two weeks and a person only have one bra and wear it everyday. Bra only has that much life, wear it everyday just gonna kill it sooner.
I think these promotions are fabulous, and give those of us who normally can’t afford VS at full-price the chance to stock up on quality merchandise. I love VS and their bras and undies last many years! Also, it’s not just about “buying unnecessary stuff” for yourself – I have taken advantage of many deals like this in the past, and with all the little “extras” I receive I have been able to provide nice gifts to family members at birthdays, holidays, or just because.
underwear and bras are incredibly expensive…I have 3 teenagers and a 9 year old and even at walmart or target my 9 year olds underwear are about 3.89 a pair. There is no reason one can’t shop at VS or the like and get a better deal than that with promos and coupons. I myself only have 4-6 bras at a time (black, nude, white, and a sports bra), however my teenage daughters like multiple colors and styles…one bra for four years is a bit gross in my opinion. they wear out, they get dingy, they sag, they stretch, the wires poke out. I guess if you have zero boobs, that would work, but I have DD’s and these ladies like a nice comfy supportive bra

U are supposed to have 7 bras, one for every day.But 3-4 is more realistic for most.Wear no more than 2 days in a row at most.Personally, I need new bras,undies is another story.I have about 50 pairs w about 35 of them brand new….and counting

Dang, some people just like to buy things for themselves sometimes. Some people like candy, others like lingerie. I personally have like 30 pairs of underwear, most from VS, because I get free panty coupons all the time and end up buying panties there when they have awesome promos. Some ladies like to feel pretty and empowered, and if a bra or panties does that for them, rock on. I also have a VS credit card and the points I get with bra purchases are awesome. I pay it off every month and within a year or so, I get at least $20 in rewards.

Thanks, I got 2 new sleep bras for me and a pair of undies to add to the Christmas gift stash. Plus next month I can get another bra for super cheap if I can stack the $10 coupon I get every month with the $15 reward gift card and another pair of free panties. This is a great start for Christmas gifts for my daughters.
I got 4 Pink Lightly Lined bras (My absolute favorites.) I got two of the limited edition poka dot ones (they are mostly white and will work with just about anything it looks like), a gray one, and a multi-way one in buff. I also got my free pair of panties, $10 off a bra, $10 certificate from a catalog/mailer, and went through ebates for 2% back. total was 78.39 shipped with a $50 rewards card. (one item I ordered is backordered … heres to hoping I get a card in each package like has happened before! Lol). I’ll then go to the store and get usually the 5/26-27 panties during the reward card promotion period. I should be able to use some in-store coupons i have (I think my store takes expired ones too) and score some more free panties, maybe a full sized spray (this one is expired), and $10 off in store thats good for awhile. I should end up with at least 4 bras, and between 11-13 panties for about $80. Thats about the same price as going to wal-wack, and they are much better quality.
