Just a reminder to check out Zapiddy if you have an iPhone and/or iPad…

Zapiddy is a free iPhone app that pays users to answer questions. After downloading and registering the app, Zapiddy users (called Zappers) may accept Jobs — brief, easy surveys. Sometimes a photo is part of the Job. Usually these Jobs include surveys about retail store activity or conditions.

As an example, Zapiddy recently paid Zappers $12 to snap a Savealot store photo and provide answers to 10 easy questions.

And the Zapper who provided the picture above of MoonPies (among other snacks) earned $7 for this picture…But during about 4 hours of work on 2 days, that same Zapiddy user earned $154 using Zapiddy (she downloaded Zapiddy on July 28th–about 3 weeks ago!).

Note: Zapiddy is activating accounts on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the number of jobs available in a given area. The sooner you create an account, the sooner you’ll have access to the jobs near you.

To get started, head on over here to download Zapiddy for free from the iTunes App Store.

I like the app, but I live in a town where jobs are few. So I don’t make a lot, but I have earned $180 since April. I you are in a big town, jobs may be more plentiful.

wow. I think that’s a lot. great work!

    • Bob

I live in a big city and the jobs are not plentiful.

Do you have to have a smartphone, or can you use an IPod touch that has WiFi at home?

    • ter

it requires GPS, so not sure if this wil work on iPod

iPhone 3GS or Newer, iPad gen 2 or newer, Running iOS 5.0 or newer.

Wish there was an android version. I have Ipad2 but no gps on it and it won’t even install. Most stores (walmart, publix etc) have wifi now a days so I’m not sure why they couldn’t use that to determine your location.

Do you need an iPhone? I am having trouble with my Android 🙁

    • Ashley57

      Yes, you need an iphone.

  6. kimm

    How often do they pay?

    • Jennifer

It takes about 5 business days for it to get approved, and then they transfer the money to your Paypal account immediately.

    • Joe

      Sometimes not for 2 weeks.

  8. anna

Be careful, jobs to disappear fast!

  9. kellybelly0513

There are never any jobs in my area 🙁

  10. Leah

Where does everyone live that there are jobs? There are none in CT 🙁

  11. Jen

It is a little crazy how fast the jobs disappear… You have to check the app MANY times per day if you hope to catch one. I think they are only posted for a couple of hours. So far I’ve made about $35, better than nothing!

Curious – when I registered, the app had me choose a charity for the funds to go to. Nothing against charitable works (I already volunteer for two local non profits), but I’m not going to run around town for that.

  13. JLS

Disappointed that the app works with all apple devices except the iPod touch.

When it says 1 submission per store, is that per store location or the chain(ie Ralph’s)?

    • Betty Sunflower

That limit refers to a given store address. If you find Jobs in several Ralphs stores, go for it! Zap all you can…but just one time per store location.

Hello Everyone -fellow Zapiddyers: I’m very new to this app and have a big question:
I’ve had 3 jobs disappear from the “Save my Jobs.” 1 disappeared 5 hours after being accepted. The store was closed so I had to wait until next am. Then today I accepted 4 jobs and upon arriving at job Site 3 I discovered the last. 2 had vanished. There was about 4.5 hrs from time of accepting and when I arrived at #3. Can anyone explain this, is there a normal-customary time to complete? None of the posting mentioned a time limit.
    Thank you for any help.
    Kak
