   This is an awesome idea for a Halloween/teacher gift – filled with candy…or maybe a Christmas gift…with either a gift inside wrapped in tissue paper, or maybe filled with homemade goodies. It has got me thinkin’!

    I bought mine at Meijer for about the same price. I used them for a cereal bar for a birthday party and it was adorable. The only thing I don’t LOVE is that they are not air tight, so your stuff can/will get stale. I put wrapped items in mine to store now (like granola bars) so they are basically for looks.

  Thanks for letting me know Jen. I was thinking of buying this for my sister-in-law and putting in my homemade granola (which she’s crazy about). But since this isn’t airtight I’m going to pass on this one!

    I bought 1 at Walmart. I don’t use it for snacks, cookies, etc. because I eventually learned that it’s not air tight. So, I decided to use it as key holder. I put a thick piece of an old tablecloth in the bottom so the keys don’t clank when they’re put in the jar and then I labeled it, “Mom, where are my keys”?

    It still showed up for me on Amazon, but says 1-2 months shipping. When I look on Wal-mart, it says sold in store only.
