CVS just sent me an email about $5 off a beauty purchase of $25 and it expires 9/16/13 so the deal might be even better??? Can you work that into a scenario?

      Me too!

    • Lindsay

      same here

I got a $6/$30 so my question is
if I buy 4 eyeliners @7.49 the total will be 29.96 plus tax will the coupon apply or does it has to be exactly $30 ( or its ok with the tax) and would the eb print even though I’m short .04 cents?
I also have the $4/$12 in cosmetics can I use it too? Or they will not accept a machine coupon and a printed / on the phone coupon together?

      • mel

My experience has been the register will accept the $/$$ a few cents short (I go by the 98% rule like how they calculate the ecb deals) but some cashiers I have read on other boards, make customers meet the $$ amount. To use both the beauty and magic machine cpns though, you do have to meet the required $$ amount, so $42 worth ($30 in beauty + $12 in cosmetics) Both cpns say something like ‘cannot be combined with any other off your purchase amount coupon’, but as long as I meet both amounts, the cashiers at my local store will accept them. I can’t use the $6/$30 and $4/$12 on a $30 purchase, otherwise 1 will beep exceeds purchase requirement or something like that, so I always make sure to meet both!

Thanks Mel! I will consider it !

Hi! Just wanted to pass on some new info I got from my CVS store last week. I had always gotten the ECB reward as long as I was at least 98% of the required purchase amount. But, last week, I bought one of the new deals which list 2 different ECB amounts, e.g. Buy $20 and get $5ECB; Buy $30 and get $10ECB. My total purchase was $29.98, but the register only printed a $5 ECB. I spoke to a manager, and she DID manually give me the extra $5ECB, but she said that she thought that, on these newer deals that had the two levels of purchase/ECB, that you actually have to purchase 100% of the required purchase. Not sure if ALL CVS registers are set up the way there are here (Dallas), but just wanted to pass this info on.

    • chester

yes, on these tiered deals, you have to spend the required amount, in your case, $30.00, to get the ecb’s.

    • Amy

The same thing happened to me as well. I had to go back in to the store to buy a qualifying item for $.98 just to get the additional $5 ECB.

  3. Patti

I’m definately gonna do this deal and throw a $4.00 off $12.00 in the mix that the red machine gave me last week!! The color stay gel base coat for nails, rocks by the way, try it!!

  4. mel

Collin, on these “Either” “Or” Spend deals, the ecb does NOT print at 98%, you MUST meet the required amount.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the heads up on this not working on the “tiered” deals! I’ll be sure to make note of that in the future!

      • mel

sorry Collin, I misunderstood your post. I’m looking at the 9/15 ad and the Revlon deal isn’t a split deal, its a straight up Spend $10, and you were just breaking it down into 3 transactions b/c of the high limit!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No worries! Thanks again for letting me know! 😀

  5. Lindsay

This is the only eyeliner I use!!!! Love.

    • chelsea\

ME TOO!!!!! 😀 I’m stocking up!

  6. Liz

please remind me again..the $4 colorstay face coupon cannot be used for eye makeup? What about lip products?

    • mel

Revlon classifies Face products as – Primers, Foundation, Concealer, Blush, Powder & BB Creams. Lips & Eyes are separate categories.

  7. Ana

Thank you so much for this info I love this brand and its so expensive , time to stock up on eyeliners !! I did the lipsticks last time and stocked up since I got them for cents last offer thanks to those great $/$$ I’ve been getting lately. It’s funny I had this card for 2 years and I stopped using it for like 10 months and now that I went back to it it’s giving me awesome coupons each week!! I’ve been getting 2-3 $/$$ every week making my deals awesome!!! A lot o them free or cents yay!!! Love CVS!!!

  8. benny

the ad on Revlon 6.99 – 4ECB but lipstick colorstay excluded

    • KS

I thought the same thing… but check the last page, top left. Spend $10 on Colorstay, get $4 ECB. Different deal than the lip ECB in the middle of the ad.

  9. Ashley

By the way, starting 9/16 you get Double Rewards…I am loading up for these products! Love the colorstay foundation! I didn’t receive the $5 off $25 in makeup 🙁 Is it online anywhere?

  10. bella

I have a question …the color stay deal is limited 6 per household…but transaction 1 2 3 will end up getting 7colorstay product…will the ECB still print? Thanks a bunch!
