A tip for anyone ever going to Euro Disney (Paris): If you get a ISIC (International Studend ID Card, $25) you get 50% off Euro Disney tickets.. plus TONS of other discounts. So, if you have kids.. buy one of them a ISIC card and you get all the tickets for 50% off.

I’m planning a 3 month trip around Europe and was excited about that. 🙂

Does anyone have any tips for saving at Magic Kingdom? My family and I are going next weekend and I know I’ve heard that there’s a souvenir cup you can buy and refill all day, are there any other saving tips?

Bring a water bottle and refill at drinking fountains! Take a break in the middle of the day. Sign up for the Earl of Sandwich club for freebies if you’ll go to downtown Disney. And pack snacks- there’s no reason to buy them there, they’re no tastier. I just got back and it was HOT- bring umbrellas for portable shade & rain!

The refillable cup is only good at the Disney Resorts – NOT at the park. There are a few places in the parks that will allow you to refill sodas while you’re still eating, but not all of them do. If you go up to any place that sells fountain soda and ask for ice water, they’ll give you a cup and every member of your party can get one as often as you like. We also take wide-mouth sports bottles (the kids Brita bottles we got on clearance at Target work well ;D), and you can just pour the ice water into those to carry around.

I believe the refillable mug is only at the WDW resorts – not the Magic Kingdom. A cup of ice water is free at any counter service location – just ask! Have fun and stay cool!

The refillable mug doesn’t work in the parks, only the resorts. You can ask for a (free) cup of water at any quick service location though. We never bring water bottles, it is easier to ask for water throughout the day.

We brought a small cooler (purse-like cooler) and filled it with ice & drinks. We also brought our own snacks and some Subway (they have $5 footlongs this month!) to save on eating costs. Because we decided to do this, we saved TONS of time (the lines were always long at the Disney food places to eat) and a lot of money. We used that money to go to Typhoon Lagoon instead. The Disney water parks AND Aquatica are A BLAST (and I’m picky!)!

Does anybody have that Chase-Disney credit card, for points to spend at Disney (store or the parks)? Do the points keep rolling and saving? I want to go in like 3 years but i didn’t know if points expire. thanks!

    • Haley

The points do expire but they don’t expire for I want to say like 5 years. They keep accumulating until you cash out, and once you cash out they send you a disney gift card. I love it!

I go to Disney World every year. The only park that has refillable cups is at animal kingdom. You can bring a small ice chest in the park with water and soda and snacks/lunch. Ride the popular rides when the park first opens the lines will be the quickest in the morning. Eat before you go the park. Food can be expensive in the park. Bring a poncho it rains a lot and it will be cheaper to buy one outside the park rather than having to buy one inside the park. Local Walmart sells Disney souvenirs for a lot cheaper than if you were to buy souvenirs at the park. For more information I own http://www.orlandoonadime.com
