If you have yet to take advantage of the Citrus Lane offer I’ve told you about previously, it’s still available…perfect if you’d love to have name-brand baby items sent to your door for the next month! :D (Keep in mind that the first month has already passed, but you will still be able to get the month of October for only $12.50!).

So as a recap, new Citrus Lane customers can score the October box of baby care products from CitrusLane.com for only $12.50 + FREE shipping (regularly $25 each!) – that’s 50% off the regular price! Just enter promo code TAKEHALF during checkout. This seems like a great deal since you are getting a box of baby care items (like toys, baby food, and personal care items!) to try out for just $12.50 per box shipped to your door! Here’s a pic of what came in my box from a previous month…

(Keep in mind that boxes shipped out may vary based on age and gender chosen.)

To get in on this offer, head on over here, click on the blue “Get a Box” button, select the Monthly Subscription option (on the left), enter your email and additional info, then select if you’d like a girl, boy, or neutral box and proceed to checkout. Enter promo code TAKEHALF to see the discount applied and then enter your payment info. That’s it!

And to sweeten things even further, I’ve received a few emails and even noticed various reader comments on the site regarding a FabKids offer in their boxes! You see, in addition to all of the great baby products, readers are also reporting receiving FabKids cards inside their boxes valid for a completely FREE outfit ($39.50 value!). How awesome is that?! Especially when you consider that the box costs just $12.50. Be sure to let us know if you’ve received this offer too!

I got the fabkids offer in my email. You do have to pay $4.95 for shipping, and it automatically enrolls you in their $39.95 per month for an outfit. I bought mine over a week ago and they still haven’t shipped it out. I would be careful of this one…

Please know this about FabKids: ALOT of people are having trouble canceling their account. They call FabKids to cancel and FabKids customer service rep says its done but they continue to get charged month after month even after numerous phone calls. Read customers comments on the FabKids Facebook page and google this problem to see for yourself. Unfortunately its a huge problem for many.

Check out Bluum Box. I’m always happy with what I receive and the customer service is awesome! I love it! https://bluum.me/WeG8X4

I have been able to score 2 outfits from fabkids (I bought one and so did my mom) and I have been pleased with them. I did not check the boxes for autoship, so although they put together an outfit for me every month to look at, they do not send it to me. I have only gotten the free signup outfits so far. I also see a box on their site that says cancel my membership. Presently, I am not too concerned since I am not on autoship. I also signed up for JustFab for adults which is pretty awesome. When you sign up you get a nice offer code. Again, I am not on autoship with them so they don’t charge me. I have never bought from Just Fab though.

When you check the box to cancel your FabKids membership, it says “you’re a cherished customer” Please call to cancel your membership. Then, people call and the account does not get canceled for many.

I cancelled my FabKids account (6+ months ago) and had no problems whatsoever.

        • Harper

6 months ago FabKids was fairly new and some things were different, i.e. you were able to cancel via email, etc. Now you cannot cancel through email, you have to call, then they pound you to not cancel by offering more credit etc. Then when you say no please cancel my account, they say its done and canceled but ALOT of people are being charged the next month.

We received our September box and I think it was pretty good for $12.50. The box is for a 2 year old girl. We got a board book by charley Harper, soft and cute lil dog purse toy, full body wash from episencial, snack bar from happy family with some coupons and nail polish by julep for mommy 🙂 I think for $12.50 it was good. If you want to sign up so that we both can receive $10 towards the next box please use my link https://www.citruslane.com/invitedby/Alla.Twins.1191052 thank you!!!

How do I cancel after I recieve my first box? I want to make sure I don’t get recurring charges.

  6. Rachael

I got my second box with Citrus Lane last month and it had the Fab Kids free outfit, however the coupon was only good for 2 weeks and the outfits to choose from were slim pickins due to sizes being sold out so I have an outfit, but different sizes for each item.

i have received this email a few times. i have tried to take advantage of this offer multiple times, and it is never successful. i have never ordered from FAB before, and have not joined their outfit program, BUT every time i have tried to use the offer that is emailed to me, i get an error at checkout that says i have to pay full price, and my offer code is invalid.
i have emailed their customer service many times to ask a question, or try to get my email offer code straightened out, but i cannot get their customer service to respond to me. they have not answered any of my emails over the course of the last several months.
i am wary of their customer service, and i feel frustrated that the website checkout will not honor the promo code they send when they invite me to join. 🙁

    • Laura

Ditto. I will not even take advantage of a free outfit from them at this point.

We also received a voucher for a FabKids outfit but the voucher said ‘Expires 9/8/13’. Our Sept Citrus Lane box did not even arrive until 9/14/13. I tried using it today and it still worked; however, all but 1 of the box’s outfits was even available anymore and the girl’s outfits are not fall or winter appropriate. I guess $4.95 is still amazing for 3 articles of clothing but am still a little disappointed.

Fabkids suck it is not worth the hassle buyer beware.

Also remember the Thredup.com code SHOP35 that gives you 35% off AND free shipping on your first order! Items starting at $2.99 so after code is $1.94 shipped!!!

does citrus lane let you pick items or give allergy info so you get useful items? have always wanted to try it but worried i will get items i wont be able to use

    • Juli

I didn’t see the option for allergy friendly. I figured we would try it, but I will still patrol the box before I hand it over.

  12. Melissa

  13. jhnicole

i just went on the to see the boys outfits. They are all sold out wow.

  14. Patty

I received an email from fabkids thru email. The dress I got was super cute! I used a prepaid Visa card so I wouldn’t have issues later on. (I do this for all these types of sites). If anyone would like to use my fab kids link, I would be very grateful!

    Thanks!

  15. Carrie

I received the voucher for the free FabKids outfit. I had to pay shipping too. I was so excited!!

  16. Heidi

I would love to use a Fabkids voucher if someone isn’t using theirs. I have 4 kids. Thanks ever so much.

  17. April L Burnham

Question why would I use a link and pay $15 instead of the prom and pay $12?? I am not intending to sound rude I am honestly asking. Thanks so much I am very interested in this deal.

    • Alla

You get $10 credit in your account to use for next months box. So you would get a box for $12.50 this month and then you would get next months box for $15 unless you could get other people to sign up under your link so you could raise more $ and possibly get your next box for free 🙂 please use my link if you haven’t signed up yet https://www.citruslane.com/invitedby/Alla.Twins.1191052 thank you!!!!

      • April L Burnham

Ok that sounds awesome and I will use you link but help me more. When I click your link I dont see how to do both. The box just come up as $15 maybe if I choose a three month box instead of one?

        • April L Burnham

Never mind once I put my son down I see what to do 🙂 Thanks I did use your link

          • Alla

            Thank you!

I know it’s not sounding good for Fab Kids right now, but I have a code from the Citrus Lane box that I’m not going to use. I got one outfit already for my son and one from my niece (2 separate codes from 2 separate boxes). Both outfits were very nice, although the boy selection sucks. I cancelled both Fab kids accounts yesterday, and while I had to listen to their speech, they didn’t give me a problem canceling (although I’ll be watching carefully to see if they charge me next month). Anyways, I got the Fab Kids free outfit in my box last week, even though it was already expired when I got it (expired 9/8/13). If anyone wants it, it’s yours. Please email me at carmal83 at yahoo dot com.

    • Carla

      Code is gone!

  19. Pharmchick

i just placed my first order, i hope i get some good stuff!! i wonder if they will consider that my sons birthday is coming up.
i went through swagbucks for 1000 points ($10), which were credited immediately, so it nets out to the box being only 2.50 after all is said and done!
