Just a FYI…Our local Krispy Kreme in Metro Detroit gives you a free doughnut when the light is on that says hot and ready (or something along those lines). But when we tried to get one in Richmond, VA, they said they didn’t do that.
Is it one per person, or one per family? If we all dress like pirates, do we all get a dozen?
I have a family of six. What would I even begin to do with six dozen doughnuts? Ha! We’re dressing for the fun of it. I will take my dozen to give to the office staff at school the next day and the children each get one. That’s what I’ve done in the past with other offers.
LOL. We have 4…..I’m thinking one for home, 1 for work, 1 for teachers, 1 more for home 🙂

I believe its one per person here in Portland, OR as well. I plan on making donut bread pudding with my dozen and my partner plans on eating hers individually :).
Last year we took 2 kid pirates and got 2 dozen free — no questions asked. =)
We always do it and take it to the school (after gobbling one down, of course). By the way, “full pirate attire” only means three items, like an eye patch, hook and bandana. 🙂
