If you’re on Android, the same app is called “Battery Doctor” and it’s made by the same developers, KS Mobile, Inc. 🙂

The battery saver app was 99cents to download on my iPhone, but free to download to my computer. I don’t know why. So, I put it on my computer and then downloaded to my phone. I thought I’d throw that out there, just in case anyone else runs across the same problem I had.

Question: if you’re already signed up to receive text alerts and also download the new app and enable that text alert, does that mean you’ll receive 2 text messages when hot deals pop up? If so, what are the unsubscribe instructions for the (original) text alerts? Hope that makes sense.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you will end up getting 2 alerts – the text alert AND the alert via the app. To unsubscribe to the text alerts, simply text “Off Hip2SaveHot” to 40404. Hope that helps!
