Check out the email and pics (above) that I recently received from reader, Ashley, regarding the clearance sale that is currently going on over at her local JCPenney…

[h2s_box]I wanted to share my recent experience at my local JCPenney store in Greensboro, NC. They are trying to get rid of all Spring/Summer items to make room for Fall/Winter items. I really lucked out and found almost all clearance items in the baby and toddler section marked down to only $0.99! I picked up jean shorts, tees, dresses, and even some sweaters. They also had most things in the new Joe Fresh line for kids marked down to $1.99-3.99. I scored Misses/Juniors tops for $2.97 each, which included some Nike tees. I thought it was definitely worth sharing with all my fellow Hip2Savers![/h2s_box]

I also received this email from reader, Paula…

[h2s_box]I ventured to JCPenney today with my $10/$25 and boy did I score! There were a lot of items that were only $0.97 and that included jean shorts! I ended up with 11 pairs of shorts, 2 shirts, 2 onesies, 1 rash guard, 1 pair of pants and 2 three-piece infant hats. The total was $25.12, used the $10/$25 which brought it to $16.46 after tax![/h2s_box]

So if you have a JCPenney nearby, you may want to swing on by and check the clearance section for some crazy bargains. Be sure to let us know what you score! 😀 Oh and don’t forget about the $10 off $25 coupon that’s still available!

(Thanks, Ashley and Paula!)

Also if you are at your local mall and it has a Sears with a Lands End dept. check out the clearance. Our store has summer clothing 70 percent off. I purchased my daughter a dress and a shirt and my son a rashguard for less than $14!

There was a sign in the store saying that you could text to a number for the coupon as well. I don’t remember the number or the phrase, but keep your eyes peeled in the store for it!

Went last week. Toddler boys was already pretty picked over as of last Saturday but my 5 yr old daughter will be set with shorts for only $15 for next summer! Love it! $15 would probably be the cost of 1 pair next summer.

I work at JCP. It’s my understanding all the stores have amazing clearance deals because we are trying to make room for our fall inventory, though deals will vary by store. At my store, some of the Joe Fresh is marked down too. We also have great deals on womens and mens clothes.

Desperately needed Winter Jeans for my Glitter and Sparkle Girl. The Arizona jeans size 6Y (these were in the toddler section)were 13.99 scored two pr for 17.98 before tax. It doesn’t hurt to ask: I had one cellphone coupon and one paper coupon. I rang each twopr set of jeans up seperately with each coupon. So we ended up with my daughters winter jeans 4 sparkley pairs for under 35.96 bucks before tax! Thanks for the heads up Collin!

I just got home from a trip to town. Found awesome deals at jcpenny. Got lots of clothes for my daughter and even some socks for my 9 and 11 year old boys that go through socks(6 pairs for 3 something after clearance and coupon). My sears was horrible. I wouldn’t consider the things marked on clearance a good sale deal.
