Earlier this week, I told you here and here about some sweet deals you can score on Purex Laundry Detergent when you use the $1.50/2 Purex Laundry Detergents coupon found over on Coupons.com. Even better, I just found out about this screamin’ upcoming deal at Walgreens starting the week of 10/6…

Final Cost $7.48 – just $1.25 each!
I am posting a heads up on this *HOT* deal now so that you print these Purex coupons while they are available, as I’m not sure how much longer they will be.
(Thanks, Wild for Wags!)
Great, thanks!! 🙂 I am printing 2 now and hoping that this will reset before the sale ends so I can re-print.
Limit reached on the $1.50/2
I just printed 2 of them, so you might want to try again!
I can use three of these coupons?
Ugh I need these coupons for my lil one its the only soap we can use for him( allergies). Only if u had printer paper 🙁
Any 8.5″ x 11″ paper will do in an ink jet printer. I reuse my son’s old school worksheets to print coupons.
Ahhh, alas, a great use for those old worksheets!!!!!!!!!!! TY for that!
I reuse paper sent home from the school. Also, I was able to reprint so I’m armed with three coupons. This is the best laundry soap (best performance and best price)
My printer jammed while printing one of the $1.50/2 coupons—-grrr! Can’t use it now.
I doubt very highly our Walgreens will even have 6 in stock!
You can always ask for a rain check…..I do it at my Walgreens all the time.
I’d be amazed that my Wag’s will let me use more than one coupon.
I second that. There’s no way, at least for me. Not sure how most of you guys manage to, but I’ve tried several Wag’s. They have yet to let me use a coupon on a free item 🙁
I saw another comment somewhere that Rite Aid will have a b1g2 sale on Purex as well…sometime in the next few weeks. Am I crazy or is this accurate?
I seem to recall either Rite Aid or CVS was having the sale also. I had it in my head I was going to go to one of those places instead because my savingstar is linked to both of those cards and not Walgreens. There is a spend $20 get $5 ecoupon on there. I don’t know what the price will be though.
Your right Nichole! Rite Aid will have B1G2 on Purex starting October 6th!!
I’m sure I’ll get torched for this but in my opinion advocating we get 6 is a little too much. Buy 3 -$1.50 = $1.49 each. Most of us know taking 6 is basically going to clear shelves at most Walgreens.
I agree, whole heartedly.
The last time Purex was on sale B2G1 at my store they had a whole end cap full of Purex so there was plenty to go around.
My store always has a ton of purex and arm and hammer detergents when they have these sales, to the point it looks like no one is really buying them. I go shopping late in the week when you’d expect there to be nothing left. So, buying 6 isn’t always a problem everywhere.
Since u are getting so many for wonder if u will have a hard time using the q’s.
…any beeps I wonder
I reached my saving star deal a few weeks back.when CVS had the B1G2 free
The Walgreens deals are always extremely unrealistic as one can be glad to even find one of the items on sale, let alone 6 at a time!
Some of you amaze me when you say a store will not let you use more than one coupon. If I’m not mistaken, Purex coupons are usually a limit of 4 per transaction (may say per household) so that shouldn’t be an issue. Having a copy of store polices with you at all times is one of the main tips of Couponing 101.
Walgreens coupon policy states:
“When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.”
It’s hard for a store to deny an updated copy of corporate policy. Ask to speak to a manager and ask if they will look over the policy with you and if needed they (the manager) can call corporate and verify that its correct. Keep calm, be nice, and work with them. Sometimes we have to teach these stores what is ok and what is not.

Also, if you use BAnk of America credit card, they have a good program called Bank Amerideals. It’s where you get money back or percentages back just by using your card. There is a good deal for Walgreen’s for the next few weeks:
Shop Walgreens and earn $10 cash back when you spend $30 or more! Offer valid one time only. Offer expires 10/20/2013.
Also here’s one for Sears:
Shop Sears and earn $5 cash back when you spend $50 or more! Not valid at Sears Auto or shopyourway.com. Offer valid one time only. Offer expires 10/18/2013.

We’re sorry, we can’t connect you to this website at this time. Please check your internet connection and try again later.
Note: Offer is only valid when you pay with your Bank of America® debit or credit card enrolled with this program.
This is in addition to any great sales and/or coupons you use. Cool!
The Walgreen’s I go to always has TONS of Purex. I’m not sure where y’all are from but low stocking on sale stuff the case in all areas.
The coupons state limit one per purchase of specified items and limit of 4 like coupons per shopping trip, so I’m a little confused if I can use them in the same transaction??
On per purchase= per item. Therefore, your able to use a maximum of four in the same transaction.
You can also do this deal at Walmart by price matching I believe. Their coupon policy states they allow “Buy one, get one free ads with a specified price ◦Example: Buy one for $2.49, get one free (BOGO)” And the add shows them priced at $5.99. So wouldn’t B1G2 also work? Has anyone else tried this before? If it’s allowed it would solve the problem of Walgreens not having enough bottles as Walmart usually has a lot!
Yes, Walmart will price match BOGO if the price is listed on the competitors add so I don’t see any issue with the B1G2!
Before I head out to do this deal next week, is there a LIMIT on them>??
I just went to my walgreens and got six bottles( 3 for my sister and 3 for me). I used two $1.50/2 coupons and two .50/1 coupons. So I paid $1.33 each. 🙂 ($3.99 or 3!) I’m happy with that!
I’ve just got home from Walgreens with 3 bottles and 3 bags of Purex. I used 3 $1.50/2 coupons. Thanks a lot!!
Am I the only one who had two $3/2 coupons? I got all 6 with no problem….all 6 for .99c each!
i thought $3/2 was off the 128 oz
The coupon is $3 off 2 and the size is for 128oz or LARGER! Julie misused to coupon to have only paid 99cents!
I got $3/2 and it is for 128oz or Larger!
My Walgreens in Bucks County, Pa will not accept the $1.50/2 coupon because the 2 are free. I wasn’t too happy bot that one.
can’t find the purex coupon !
Got it in Westminster md! Got 6 and paid 1.36 each! Used 3 coupons ! Thanks
I got a rain check at rite aid for the purex. I tried to do the deal today and they would only let me use one coupon because it was for 2 bottles of purex and that’s all I was actually paying for. Is this right??? I even spoke to the manager and pulled their coupon policy, although it was very confusing. But they would not read over it with me or try to scan the coupons. 🙁
Next week CVS is having a B1G2 sale on Purex Detergent. I’m new at couponing, and I was wondering, do you think I could get the 3 detergerents, and use the $1.50/2 and the $.50/1 coupons together for one purchase?
