I do that, too, Stacy. We had to switch from BFing to formula early on and that little trick really helped keep our formula costs in check.

I bought candy already, too, and I stuck it in the back of the freezer with a whole bunch of frozen veggies and ziplocs of chicken breast on top. It is such a pain to get to, I think that will keep my husband and me out of it. 🙂

I threw my bags away however one bag had 80 pieces and my other had 76. Hth
I purchased 85 piece, 38.94oz m&m, starburst, skittles and twix mix.
Not sure on the weight, but the bags I saw all had between 70-85 pieces, and they are the fun size bars..not the tiny square pieces. Great deal for me!
Costco has an 80 oz variety for 13.99 and a 150 ct 90 oz one for 14.99. Both are chocolate. I think the Costco bags have more variety. Can someone tell me what’s in the Target bags besides Snickers, Starbursts, Milky Way, Twix, and 3 Musketeers?

I tried doing this deal today together with the Schick razor deal and my cashier refused to let me use two $2 off manufacturer coupons on this because there is fine print on the coupon “one per purchase.” The same thing happened with the Schick razors, I could only use one manufacturer coupon even though I was purchasing two items!! I was so frustrated! Has anyone ever experienced this?
Kris, I have had a couple cashiers try to tell me the same thing but pull out all your other coupons, 90% or more all say that in fine print. The manufacturer does not allow more than one coupon used on the same item, that is what the mean by purchase. If it stated”one per transaction” then you would only be able to use one. When I run into this problem I just explain all coupons say that and why and also pull out other coupons I have with me and show them. If that does not work, then I would have them call over a manager. Luckily I have not had to do that once I educate the cashier. I was accused of photocopying a coupon yesterday at Walmart by a supervisor and just politely pointed out the different bar codes on each one and she just said “Oh” and pushed them through. Unfortunately a lot of cashiers are not coupon friendly but they are not going to stop me from saving for my family, just be firm!
Thanks! I spend a lot of time figuring out my coupons to save my family money and it was so frustrating she wouldn’t let me use them. I should have asked for a manager but I was so aggravated I just wanted to leave! I had a couple wisk coupons and she would only let me use one and then I said ring the others up seperate, she said I could only use one per day!!!! I think she was the coupon police!! It ruined my whole shopping trip!
It may just be easier to do a missed coupon. You have I think like 3-5 days to redeem a coupon on a purchase. Just bring your receipt and coupon.

sadly calls to corporate usually fall on deaf ears or they simply tell you that they give individual stores the authority to make those choices. I have been to targets that limited how many of each coupon you use, like only two like coupons per transaction and then would not allow you to do multiple transactions. Corporate didn’t care.
What?! I live right near there. Had no idea. I’ve used them recently at other area Targets with no problem.

Does anyone how pieces many are in the bags from Costco/Sam’s? What about the the smaller bags you can find for about $1.50 w/ coupons?
Not sure about Costco, but these bags for $4.50 are WAY more than 3 of the smaller bags combined!
