We have this post and it is great! Def worth the price with free shipping! It is tall and sturdy. My cat uses it a lot!

I have 16 (yes, sixteen) cats and this is the best post around! Most others are too short-cats want to be able to get a full stretch when they scratch!

Thank you for posting this again. I checked out reviews and discovered it is on sale right now at Drs. foster and smith for $29.99 also. I was given a gift certificate to their store and now I finally have something great to use it on!

For all you extra frugal DIYers out there — my husband made one using natural rope wrapped around and stapled to a scrap fence post and nailed it to a plywood base. It couldn’t have cost more than $5 total. My cat’s a big fan of his work! 🙂

I would love to try that. What kind of rope and also did you wrap it in circles around the fence post or up and down? Thanks for the reply

i am looking for a cat post but i saw on craigslist at a city near where i am they are selling cat posts(the $300 looking ones) for up to 110. and there are some that are lower. and they are huge! i would rather spend another almost 50 or so more bucks for a huge one.

I have 2 of these in my house – they are great!

don’t know why scratching posts are so expensive…even the cardboard ones

Awesome! I have one of these and needed another – it’s been sitting in my wish list. Thank you Collin. My cats love it!
