[h2s_box]There is a crazy good sale going on at GAP today. Sale stuff is an extra 40% off and card holders get another 30% off on top of that. Almost everything I got for my daughters was under $3 many around $1.
Gap just started a 30% discount (October 3-6) so I headed over there to stack that sale with a $10 reward I had earned. BONUS! ALL their clearance was an additional 40% off!!! There were a ton of long and short sleeve shirts for as low as $3.99 before discounts. I was able to score 5 shirts for only $1.83!!! I used my rewards so shirts were $0.24-$0.42 each for me, but even without the rewards shirts will cost less than $2 each. I LOVE ALMOST FREE CLOTHES!!!
We got theses flyers in the mail – just use your GAP brand credit cards 4 times at stores other than GAP brands and you will receive $20 rewards!!! It doesn’t matter the transaction amounts, so use it on little things and you’ll get free money to use at GAP!!![/h2s_box]

I went early this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by this sale! I bought all sale items, so I got 40% off automatically, then I used my Gap card to get the extra 30% off and used a $20 reward and got a huge bag full of clothes for $3.00. Like was said – even a great deal if you don’t have any rewards certificates to use.
That’s awesome! We need more good stores like Gap in our small town to get these great deals!

Yes. I asked several times when I was in the store. They took off the 40% first and then then 30% came off. Then I was also able to use my Gap Rewards certificate on top of that.

Oh wow! Great job. I love almost free clothes too 🙂 but my Gap store is not that great and they do not let you stack a code on top of their additional %off sales. They say its either one, not both.
I work for Gap, and normally codes can not stack with any additional off Sale promos, however with this one they will allow it.

yes it does! you can interchange your gap/old navy/banana republic credit cards at any of the 3 stores to receive the “use your credit card for discount” sale! i did it today!
It does! I, too, have an Old Navy card so I called the number on the back of the card and the representative said we will get the sale too because they are a sister store. UNFORTUNATELY I rushed to my local mall and the Gap closed down! Boooo 🙁

Yes. You can use your Old Navy Card to get this deal at Gap. Here is what the 30% coupon states (you do not need to have this, as they have it in the store). Oct. 3 – 6. The Gapcard Style Event. Extra 30% off regular & sale price items when you use your GapCard, BananaCard, or Old Navy Card at Gap, Gapbody, Gapkids and babyGap. Again, if you buy sale items, they will take the 40% off first and then apply the 30% off.
Does an old navy card get the 30% or does it have to be Gap specifically?
Yes. Your Old Navy card should work. You can see my comment above with the information listed on the coupon.

Amanda, you may be able to get a price adjustment on your items if you take in your receipt within 7 days of your purchase. You can call your local Gap to make sure.
Yes you can use your Old Navy or Banana CC’s to get the additional discount. The additional 30% off is good on top of all percent off deals in the store. There are several deals in the mens/womens depts. that are already 50% off and you receive the 30% off that too. The additional 40% off clearance and the 30% with your Card is good at Gap, not the outlet. Old Navy was having sales today too, I believe there was 40% off when you use your Card.

Just got back from Gap they said the extra 30% off was only if you use your gap card specifically…but a manager honored my Old Navy card.
The email specifically says that it is when you use Gap, Banana Republic or Old Navy cards. But you need to show the email it says.

I went to my local Gap. I saw signs all over store that said 30% off for cardholders. When I went to the register to check out, the cashier saw that I had a Banana Republic card and gave me the additional 30% off. The items themselves scanned at 40% off the additional 30%, the cashier had to put it in.
I received a mailed flyer and an email about the Gap 30% and they both state that you have to show the discount to the cashier in order to receive it. I’m not sure the 30% automatically comes off when using the card.

Went to my local Gap kids/baby outlet (regular gap in our mall closed last year) and they didnt have any sales going on when you used your gap card and the clearance was not an additional % off 🙁 might want to call and make sure your local store is participating.
The outlets participate in their own set of sales and promotions, they usually send out emails about those.
I went tonight and opened a gap credit card. To my surprise it came with a 10% off voucher. I asked the cashier if it could stack with the 40% 30% and he said it wouldn’t hurt to try. Well it worked!!! I got 41 items for $161. Pretty much done Christmas shopping! 😀 hope everyone gets these deals!

If you don’t have a gap card, do you think you could combine the clearance sale with the 25% off coupon for signing up for their emails?
I just came back from Gap and the cashier said I can’t combine both 40% off sale and 30% banana republic card. I asked her to put in the code to try anyway and she said the computer won’t take it!? I paid with my banana card anyway and will call the customer service about it.
Just got off the phone. Yeah! They will apply the code for me. They said here was a glitch in their system earlier that it won’t take the code. I am supper happy now.

Our Gap never goes this low on clearance but I decided to try anyway and found a couple of things — I overheard the cashier tell the person ahead of me that the 30% off wouldn’t combine with the additional 40% off.
Rather than try to convince her with the fine print that says it’s combinable with other offers, I went to a different cashier. He didn’t think it would combine and tried unsuccessfully to get a manager on his radio — finally he said “I’ll just try it. If it doesn’t combine, it’ll tell me to choose a discount.” And it worked! He was surprised and said it doesn’t normally work but the computer combined them.
I made four purchases outside of gap brands in October and the rewards haven’t posted to my account. Do you know when that will happen?
