Walgreens: Nice Deal on Charmin & Tide Detergent
As I mentioned in the Walgreens Weekly Deals, there is a nice Register Reward deal valid on select P&G products. Purchase at least $30 worth of participating Charmin, Bounty, Duracell, Tide, Gillette or Pantene Products and score a $10 Register Reward! In addition to the scenario I highlighted in the weekly deals, if you want to stock up on toilet paper and laundry detergent – here’s another scenario for ya:
Buy 2 Charmin Ultra Soft or Ultra Strong 16 Double Rolls on sale for $9.99 each
Buy 1 Tide detergent 48-64 loads on sale for $11.99
Total = $31.97
Use 2 $1/1 Charmin Double Roll or Mega Roll Pack coupons found in the 9/29 PG
Plus, use the $2/1 Tide Detergent coupon found in the 9/29 PG
Pay $27.97
Get back a $10 RR
Final cost $17.97 total, just $5.99 per item!
So this means you are paying just $5.99 for each Charmin 16-pack of double rolls – that’s like paying only $0.19 per single roll! Awesome price for Charmin!
(Thanks, Wild for Wags!)
Couldn’t you also be eligible for the$30 P&G rebate thing for the pan and etc? The qualifications for it if I remember was all $30 purchased in one transaction.
I believe it’s $30 after coupons are used. Other P&G rebates have been that way
Does somebody know for sure? Thank you! ๐
It’s $30 before coupons, unless they’ve changed it. I did this deal a few months ago when Pampers were included. I spent about $20-ish oop and got a $10RR. Hth!
Christy – I think the $10 GC / Rebate ended at the end of Sept.
Would it work if I were to purchase 3 of the charmin tp? Or would it have to be 30$ subtotal to trigger the RR?
I’m wondering the same thing!
Me, too!!
i did it on Tuesday and got the register reward with no problem
In nor cal you have to have $30 sub total after your coupons are deducted to get $10 rewards Example $39 total of product.. then minus coupons.. new total $30
