On the GM cereal deal, be sure to scan. I did not have time to, as I just ran in to pick up an rx and ck shelf prices for the fiber deal. Anyway, the only ones that were tagged at mine were Cheerios Original in the Yellow Box, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Reese’s.
Yes, double check your receipts. At my store the honey nut cheerios were marked as part of the sale but my receipt showed regular price when rung up. They refunded the difference and said they were going to change it in the system since it should show up on sale.

Here’s a good deal if you received a 25% off coupon in your email (mine expires tomorrow.) Buy 2 Schick Quattro Razors @ $9.99 and use 2 $4 MQs, Buy 1 Playtex Tampons @ $5.29 and use 1 $2 MQ. Total = 25.27- 6.32 (25%) – $10 in MQs = $8.95. You get 10 ECBs back, which makes it like a $1.05 moneymaker.

I thought you couldn’t use the 25% on sale items. Aren’t all the items in the add on sale? Can you please explain why certain items qualify and others don’t? I haven’t used this coupon in months thinking you can’t combine it with the add sales. Can someone please explain ?! I will appreciate it!
Emmi, the items are actually regular price, you are just receiving an extra buck for buying them, In this case the 25% off will work. If the ad shows a price such as $2/5 or $5.99 get X number of extra bucks then it would not apply the 25% discount. HTH

I was told that if the ad shows a price, has an offer such as BOGO, says Save $1, then the % off will not apply. If a deal just says to spend XX or buy 2 and no price is given, then the % off will apply. Clearance is hit or miss. A few times it’s worked, but a majority it rings up as a sale item since it says saved $xx.xx on shows up on the top half of the receipt. If you’ve ever really looked at your receipt, sale items are on top, a slight space, then reg priced items below. If you use any CVS Store coupons, that will reduce your % off, so I put a * on my quarterly, beauty & RX bucks, so I know not to use them with my % off cpns.
The items that were regular price but have an ECB attached have always worked with my percent off coupons. For example, when the small multi-pack of toothpaste had a 3 ECB attached I my 25% off to lower the price from $3.29 (in my store) to $2.63 and still received the 3 ECB. Hope that helps you save a bit more 🙂
does anyone remember which ECBs reduce the amount of the percent off coupon?? I know there are some that do, and some that don’t.
I don’t want to waste my ECBs if it only reduces the percent off.

Hi Collin… I just thought I would let you know that they last two times I tried the Natures Bounty BOGO Vitamin deals, that Potassium and Zinc aren’t included. I realized this after the fact and I went back to tell them they didn’t ring up on sale. The store manager said that those were practically the only two that aren’t included, but she did refund the difference. Just wanted to put that out there! Thanks for all the deals! 😀

My CVS will not take it. If it says “available at such-n-such store” they will though. Its one of those YMMV things, as some stores will take them though. Best to ask!

What’s up with the new cvs my weekly ad? It won’t let me view the ad in page format. It is very frustrating, I don’t like it at all. Anyone else taken a look at it?
I actually like the new format! When you hit “details” for a deal, it lists all the included products, which is really helpful when you have a store that doesn’t have everything tagged on Sunday! And it’ll tell you the aisle # when you add it to your shopping list.
I also like if you just want to see the ecb deals, hit that tab. Grocery items, I’ve spotted more deals this way than the old flip ad, I guess b/c the boxes are big and the price stands out more. Basically, you’re scrolling down rather than across.
I think this link will take you to the old ad format, but IDK how long it’ll stay active though – copy/paste weeklyad.cvs.com in a new browser and it should open. If it doesn’t work, it was recommended to clear your browser history or if you use Chrome, open the link in an “incognito” window. HTH!

i just want to let you all know I just got back from my CVS. They have marked there school supplies 90% off. Somethings rang up as lows as $0.09. I got 35 ideas including 2 lamps, 2 lunch cooler bags, 1 backpack, turtle shaped mouse, and much more for only $16.32. Wow!

Super easy mom. Sign up at savingstar.com. You attach your store cards to your savingstar account. Choose which ecoupons you want and select “I want this”. When you purchase that item with your “store card” they add the amount of the ecoupon to your account. When you reach $5 you can cash out. I always get Amazon cards. hth
At my store the Cheerios are not included in the 1.88 deal. However, they had them on the sale end cap marked like they were. When I checked the price at the coupon machine, they were still saying $4 something. I notified the manager so they could switch the end cap but they price modified the ones I purchased because they were marked as on sale. So I still got the deal.
Also, my lucky charms box had $6 of coupons on the back of the box so be on the lookout for that in your stores!!

I saw this post and went to our CVS just to check, and found out all the Back to School items — 90% OFF, ^_^ I wish I know how to send you the picture with all the goodies I got. My receipt showed I saved 159.75, I got a grill that was $22.50 for $2.49, Lap desk was $12.00 for $1.29, 3pk Women’s tank top $9.99 for 0.99, and 3 rolls of sctch duct tape for free — I had MQ they adjusted the price of the 90% off $0.39.
I got 30 items all 90% off, with $5 ECB I paid $10.84. Ya!!!! Thank you so much again.
More crazy clearance at CVS!!! I stopped by my CVS on the way home and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Kingsford charcoal, 8 LBS bag was 69cents. Kingsford lighter fluid was 59 cents. You know I went and got a cart. I left plenty for others to get excited!

BTW, I received a CVS $1 coupon on any Mitchem deoderant product. Paired with the manufacturer’s coupon and the sale, I got the deoderant for free and made .01! Not sure if other people are getting this coupon from the magic coupon machine, but thought you’d like to know.
I got 3 of $10 deodorant red machine great for the right guard. Also,red machine gave 3 of 2 clear shampoo, and 5/15 shampoo,and a 3/2 body wash, and 1dlr of downy cpn red machine has been wonderful and after. I paid. I got 2 10/50 at bottom of receipt

I tried to buy the Oral B replacement heads that are on sale for $5.99 with the $5 coupons and the cashier didn’t even try to scan them. She just told me that they wouldn’t work because the $5 coupon is for the electric toothbrush refills. Maybe the cashiers were all told about that deal. Was anyone else able to use the coupons? I didn’t ask her to try but maybe I should have. Or maybe I’ll stop by a different CVS.

I saw someone posted that the coupon machine is printing $3 off $10 deodorant q & $1 off Mitchum. Can I combine those to make the deal look like this-

The Hershey Bliss is not part of the ECB deal. I checked today at my CVS in Houston and it was just the regular Hershey’s candy.
