Ibotta has been a big dissapointment to me….It wont accept any of my receipts!!! Very frustrated…
I can’t get Target or CVS to show up on my Ibotta app. Does anyone know why? I have them both where I live, Central, IL
When you go to redeem, select the option “A-Z” from the 3 tabs on top instead of Recent or Nearby. This will give you an entire list of Ibotta participating stores, including CVS Pharmacy and Target.

I’m not sure if I understand how to use this app completely. So after I buy the items, I scan the bar on the receipt, right? How does ibotta know what item it is on the receipt?
you take a picture of the receipt and then scan the barcodes of the items you purchased. hth
You can also scan the items before you buy them to make sure that they’re the correct ones for the offer.

what is ibotta??
Ibotta is a free app you can get. It has a list of products that you can buy at participating stores. Each product has a different amount you can earn back after you buy it. You may take a poll, learn a fact, share with twitter/facebook, etc. to earn money back. There are specific tasks for each product broken down into different amounts so if you choose not to do the twitter share that’s fine, you just don’t earn as much back. I love it and use it all the time. I usually end up just buying products that I normally would and get money back that way but with deals like the above, I definitely am motivated to buy something I don’t normally buy. I’ve been able to get a lot of free products thanks to Ibotta. I love it! They have bonuses and other things that let you earn even more too.
