I just got back with 2 bottles. There was even a printout from corporate guving instructions to the cashiers on how to adjust the coupons to make it work. So my store was very happy to take both coupons.

All 3 stores wiped out , people were lined up at the doors at 9:00 am some were getting 10 to 20 bottles and store employee’s were letting them I went to one at 10:00 and was told that due to people getting 10 to 20 bottles the store sold out quickly , the coupon states 1 per visit , what a waste of ink ,paper and gas because people are greedy I only wanted one bottle there are 7 of us here but because of lax employees and greedy people I could not get one so sad πŸ™

The shelves where cleaned out in Two Rivers, WI
I did however get 2 of the 25 count Mighty Packs for $2.48 each (used the $1 off Q), still relatively good deal at about $5 for 50 loads of laundry.

So even after reading all the comments about people shopping there and trying to use 2 coupons and having problems i decided to give it a try anyways. (this was my first time using coupons at family dollar) i have to say that i had an extremely good experience and will continue to shop there in the future! I went way late (just barely got back at 3:00 my time) so of course the shelves were cleared but i asked the cashier if they happened to have anymore and she actually gave me one that was put away for someone else – i felt awful and told her it wasn’t a big deal but she said i needed it more (i had all of my 4 little kids with me so maybe that’s why lol) but she knew just what to do to get it to work and was extremely nice. I’m so pleased with my experience!

I just got back from family dollar. They would only take the $2.50 coupon. He said he was told not to use both, Cooperate policy. But I went last week and got the sparkle paper towel deal and both coupons went through fine. It all depends on the cashier. *sigh*

I had no problem at my FD using 2 coupons (one was adjusted down). I paid 6 cents tax. There were lots of bottles on the shelf at 2:00. (Grand Rapids, MI) Thanks for alerting us to such a great deal. Got the free and clear for my new granddaughter!

where sold out of the all liquid but had the pacs , they where letting people get gain in the place of the all , they where really nice. I was lucky to even get one of the Gains though because people where buying five at a time !!

Deb, are you in Georgia? My friend went to get hers and they gave her Gain as well and she stated the cashier told her people were coming with their carts full to get them..wow!!

Tried to use this in Big Rapids, Michigan. The clerk scanned the $1 coupon first, then tried the $2.50 coupon and got a pop-up message on the screen saying the amount couldn’t exceed $2.48. I asked him if he could adjust the amount of the coupon, he said no, and asked if I still wanted the item. I told him he could keep it and I would contact corporate. Very disappointed. πŸ™

All the stores I went to were wiped out, but I had brought a copy of their own coupon policy from their website just in case, where it specifically states, “Coupons can be redeemed ifthe value of the coupon is greater than the price of the item. In this case, the value of the coupon will be discounted to match the price of the item.”

It’s pretty sad when employees of a store don’t even know what their own coupon policy is.

(It also bothers me to read posts here of folk who got more than one of this deal, when their coupon specifically stated one per customer.)

Am I the only one who’s family dollar had them ring up for $6? What a bummer!!

I ran across the street to my Family Dollar store around 8pm with 2 manufacture coupons and asked the cashier if she could point me in the right direction where the All Detergent was that was on sale for $3.48 and she took a 60oz bottle off the shelf. I told her that I believe it was the 50oz that was on sale and in the paper and she said, “No, it’s this bottle.” So who was I to argue with THAT! LOL! Well needless to say, it rang up at $5 and I said, “See I told you!” And then she proceeded to adjust the price to $3.50! Cool! Then she scanned the manuf coupon ($1.00) and typed in the FD code for $2.50 and of course it beeped. LOL! I asked her to please adjust the $2.50 down to $2.48 and it went through and I paid $.11!!! Then I put it in my car and came back in and got another bottle and did the deal again, paying $.11 again! I also ended up getting some cute cat toys, some doggie pee pads, and some dish scrubbers on sale for 75% off (they were the Dollar Days items). I bought a couple other items while there too, so Family Dollar made some money on me πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
