I was just coming here to post this deal!! I finally bit the bullet on the smaller 4.5 qt one; for 214.xx total I got the mixer and 5 Carter’s pjs for ds! Plus 6ish back from ebates and 40 kohls cash which I will use for attachments for my mixer.
    I am so happy!!!

  2. Danielle

I’ve had my kitchen aid mixer for a while. But if you do a lot of baking and home cooking, you must have one of these! Mine is smaller too. But the dough hook gets the biggest workout on mine. Always making bread. And it’s a million times easier than kneading by hand.

thanks so much for posting this, i missed out on the deal last time, I just purchased the light pink one 5 quart and went through ebates for my cashback!!! Im looking forward to getting this and cashing in on the rebate for the food grinder

  4. haloryn

I have wanted one of these for years! What a great deal! Thanks for posting. Anyone have recommendations on which is the better deal; the glass bowl or the food grinder? I don’t really grind meat so wanted to know what others are using the attachment for? Thanks!

    • D

Value considered, I think that I’ve seen the glass bowl sell for more than the food grinder, but I think they are close enough in price. On a practical view point, I get a lot more use out of the food grinder. I run my meatball and meatloaf mixtures through it as an idea. Not sure, but you may even be able to run past dough through it, though I’ve never tried that.

        Thanks for the feedback, D!

Is this as good as it gets on this mixer? I’m getting it for a Xmas present so I can hold out if it gets better.

    • Bridget

      Was wondering that too.

    • Leah

For the artisan mixer, this is the best deal I’ve seen, especially when you factor in the glass bowl rebate. The bowl itself is usually $70 or so.

    • Veronica

I got the 4.5 last year and have been happy with it except that there is no handle on the bowl which makes it more challenging to use because it also has no ridge at the top to grip easily.

  6. Ashley

Thanks for sharing the deal. I ended up getting the 6 quart Professional instead for just $260.48 (after 30% off for cardholders and $50 back in Kohl’s Cash) plus I will get a free food grinder or ice cream maker with rebate.

  7. Trina

I THINK it was a little bit better on black friday last year. I am holding out till then to get it, but it may not be so cheap this year! Last year Collin started posting Kohl’s deals on Thursday afternoon/evening. Good luck!

  8. Jessica

Black Friday last year was a $99.xx after Kohls cash and cash rebate for the smaller 4.5 quart Kitchen Aid Classic Plus in white only. Obviously, this is a bigger mixer and you get the extra attachment but I don’t think I would use the meat grinder or need the glass bowl so I am hoping Kohls does the same or an even cheaper BF deal again this year. I think I am going to hold out for BF too. Anyone have an opinion if the Artisan is worth the extra money? I know the Artisan colors are prettier but white would match my kitchen too. Any input would be appreciated. 🙂

    • KS

Depends on what you will be using this for. I have the artisan, love it, BUT (yes there is a but) 😉 I use it for bread dough, pizza dough etc too and it is not powerful enough, should have got the professional. But if you are planning to use it for cakes etc Artisan is great. Again can’t say much about the classic but I know the Artisan is highly rated and recommended product and is powerful than the classic.

    • lj

Yes, if you’re going to mix large amounts of cookie dough or bread dough, you definitely want to get the professional. I’ve had mine for several years now not a problem. I’ve done batches, especially around the holidays, with up to 14 cups of flour with my professional. The professional comes with all metal attachments and a 6 qt bowl. About a year and a half ago, I got my sis-in-law one as a wedding gift for 170.00 something. That’s a $500 mixer! Oh, and hers was a red one. If you watch, you can sometimes find nice colors with the pro one too.

  9. Be Hayat

I just got a Kohls charge card and received an extra %15 of my first shopping.
Can I use this welcome gift( extra %15 off on top of %30 off?

    • Miller

No percentage off codes can’t be combined. Tried before 🙁

  10. sally

This deal worked perfectly! Another gift done. What a great price!!!

  11. Be Hayat

    I found Kohl’s black friday ad 2012
    4.5 q one on sale for $229 + additional %10 + $20 mail in rebate + $15 kohls cash for each $50

    • Nikki

At Bon ton you can pick any color for 249 plus if call kohls they matched price plus 30%
I got for around 198 including tax and surcharge. plus 30 cash back plus reward for 5 for every 100 purchase plus mail in glass bowl or grinder

  12. TallNurse

It actually comes to $244 with the 30% off. Unless I am missing something? Still a great deal!!

    • Shelbey

That’s what mine came too as well. I think the total she has doesn’t factor in tax plus you have to subtract the $40 of Kohl’s cash that you receive from the deal as well. 🙂 If you go through Shop at Home you should get around $11 cash back too. So my total looked like this $244.29 – $40 Kohl’s Cash – $11.02 cash back from Shop at Home = $193.27 including tax. 🙂 And then the free bowl or meat grinder which I am still deciding between. I finally decided to purchase last night. I was debating for hours since the post happened. Very excited to get my aqua sky mixer in. 🙂

  13. Alicia

Went to the store to buy the 6qt with same deals and in store there is a sign stating $20 kohl a gift card through mail with kitchenaide purchase of $199 or $40 gift card for purchase of $299. You can find the forms at kohls.com/rebates. This is on top of of all the other discounts!

    • Shelbey

Looks like you have to have the original UPC code from the box cut out to send in on both rebates so you’ll have to choose which one you’d rather have. That stinks! Getting both would be great!

    • heidi

Unfortunately the end date on that rebate was 10/6 =(

    • Abby

The $40 rebate was good from 9/9 to 10/6 and is no longer valid.

  14. iluvabargain

Showing up $244 for me too after 30%

    • Shelbey

That is how much it is after tax and before the Kohl’s cash. My total looked like this $244.29 – $40 Kohl’s Cash – $11.02 Shop at Home credit = $193.27 including tax. The totals above don’t include the tax that you have to pay. It’s a pretty great deal. Excited for my mixer to get here!

  15. Ruthann

When I added it to the cart, the price did not drop… wonder if that savings is over?

  16. Emily

I wanted Boysenbery color but it is not dropping in price when I put it in my cart or attempt to checkout. Is this only working for certain colors?

    • Nikki

      Call kohls and try,

At Bon ton you can pick any color for 249 plus if call kohls they matched price plus 30%
I got for around 198 including tax and surcharge. plus 30 cash back plus reward for 5 for every 100 purchase plus mail in glass bowl or grinder
      I bought boysenberry too

  17. Be Hayat

it seems like Sale : $349.99 is now 🙁

  18. sabrina

Why is the price not dropping to 314.99 for me. Am I doing something wrong?

  19. Ashley

When I put it in my cart I had the same issue with it not dropping in price. Is that part of the deal over now?

  20. sherry

my total is 267.64 i am really not getting the close to 187.99. I really would hate to miss out on this deal

  21. Swale

Is anybody having problems with the Kohl’s site?

  22. Meagan

It’s not dropping when I add to my cart. . .

  23. Ashley

I think the deal is dead ladies.

  24. Nikki

    Call kohls and try,

At Bon ton you can pick any color for 249 plus if call kohls they matched price plus 30%
