Thanks, got passes for Theater playing near me.
Thanks!!! Got ’em 😉
Even though my city wasn’t listed, I must commend Collin for a great freebie. All cities are green (passes available) as of 18:45 pm EDT, so go….go…go….fo….bo!!
Has anyone ever gone to a screening like this before? If so, generally how early would you suggest getting in line? Thanks!
We have attended screenings sponsored by Regal and arrived 30 minutes prior with no issues.
We went last night (Denver) and got there about an hour and a half before show – probably about 100 back from the front of the line! People were turned away for our screening. It was a cute movie – I thought it was going to be more for just the “blue hairs” but it had some really funny moments. Loved Morgan Freeman & Kevin Kline!!!
got it thanks
Depends on the movie. I would recommend arriving about 45 minutes or more prior to the start of the movie if you want a good seat. I just saw this movie at a screening last week and they let us into the theater about 25 – 30 minutes prior to the movie starting. They will scan your tickets and then wand you and check your bags and purses for any electronic devices prior to entering the theater.
Thanks! Im excited. It looks like my husband and I will both like it 🙂
Sweet, thank you! My mom and I wanted to see this one!
I went to a screening of this last week and really enjoyed it. We got there maybe an hour early and they hadn’t started seating people yet. It did fill upm i’m sure some people were turned away.
Awesome, thanks. just got tickets!
Thanks. This looks like a fun movie.
Got my tickets, its kinda far but free is free! Thanks Collin!
We saw this movie last Wednesday and loved it. It’s Bachelor Party meets The Bucket List. Such a great cast, we laughed and laughed.
Took my mom to a screening of this movie on Monday and we loved it! So funny! We got there an hour early and there was a line but surprisingly our theater was not at all full at show time. That usually does not happen, I have been stuck in the front row a few times and turned away, too. Definitely get there early because you never know how it’s going to be.
Just saw this movie tonight from another website for free as well. It’s super cute & funny! Being free also helps! 🙂
Make sure you leave your cell phones in the car. We went to a showing of Red2 and they had anyone with a cell phone go put it in the car or you didn’t get let it. We were surprised that the showing was not packed, but we did make sure to be there 30 minutes early. We wanted to make sure we had good seats.
We showed up 1 hr early for Rush and there were already a ton of people in line. For all those who saw it – did all of you have to leave your phones at home? The screening we went to, you didn’t (Rush). I have a spouse who works for a law enforcement agency and is on call 24-7 and can’t be without their phone. Our last screening we had to just put it away. But it was a Universal Co. screening. Not sure this is… Thanks in advance!
Thanks Collin for posting these free movie screenings. At $12 a ticket going to the movies has become a luxury. My daughter and I have a date tonight to see About Time and I was lucky to get two more tickets for Last Vegas for next week. Two movies in two weeks, Yippee!!!!
I went Monday night and enjoyed it!
I saw this about two weeks and ago and I really liked it. I go to about 5-6 screenings a month and I love in NYC. If you go to screenings out here then I definietly suggest you get there an hour early. I have never been turned away but I know many have been. When you are there early it is alot easier to get a good seat and sit with whoever you brought. I saw Bad Grandpa last night and I have another screening tonight. I’d say that I have gone to over 12 screenings in the past 2 months.
Ashli – how do you find out about all the screenings in NYC?
I live in NY also, on Long Island. Where do you find the RSVP codes? Thanks!
Thanks, Collin! The last few dates my husband and I went were surprises he planned for me. Now I get to surprise him! We never go to the movies anymore because of the cost, so this will be a real treat!
