Walgreens: *HOT* Deals on Candy, Carmex Skincare Items, Ice Cream, Candles & More…
So I hit up Walgreens yesterday to snag some of the weekly deals (plus film – stay tuned for the video!), and also spotted a few additional deals that I definitely thought were worth mentioning! So here’s a roundup of deals you may not want to miss this week:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Lots of items at my local Walgreens were not marked on sale (even though they were advertised in the weekly ad). For example, the fun size candies that are on sale 2/$5 this week… well, lots of the qualifying bags were not marked but DID in fact ring up at the correct sale price. So don’t assume items are not on sale if you don’t see a sale sticker displayed. And by the way, don’t forget to score yourself some seriously cheap Mars candy bags this week…

The Sense & Spray was free a while back. I also got 6 bags of candy for about $1.50 (and that’s including tax) at CVS this week. So I think I’ll skip Walgreens this week.
Free Lindt candy is worth a trip no matter how much I already have 🙂
Is Walgreens the store where the register reward is loaded to your card or does it print out?
Register Rewards print out of the catalina machine. Balance Reward Points load to your card.
Its Rite Aid’s +UPs that load to your card if you don’t opt out.
Their Bonus Rewards Points are loaded onto your card, but Register Rewards print out.
I think it’s funny that someone came up with the candy corn and peanuts mix. My husband has been buying peanuts and candy corn separately for years just to eat them together.
Us too! I thought we were the only ones! We also put m&m’s in our mix.
Add plain M&M’s to the mix and it gets even better!

These candles from Walgreen’s are GREAT! If you don’t buy generic candles, try these! Thee scent is good and doesn’t wear off. I usually stock up on Black Friday when the big candles are b1g2 free, but this sale will hold me until Black Friday lol . Thanks Collin!

Anyone else having problems at walgs with the second coupon not scanning. I went there tonight and did the caress deal b1g1 half off @4.99 and 2.49. Used my 2.00 off 1 coupon for both and the second one wouldn’t scan. The cashier tried telling me it was because the coupon was for more than the price of item and item was already on sale so i couldn’t use it. Which clearly was not the case.The same thing happened with the nivia creams were b1g1 half off and i had two 2.00 off coupons the second coupon wouldn’t scan either. After a bit of contending the manager pushed it through at least.

Some of the carmex lotions at my wags had a free moisture plus sheer peach tint attached to them. According to the label it’s a $2.49 value. Already tried the tint and I love it. What a deal!
Hoping my store has the candles for this deal. Sunday is my 77 year old grandma’s birthday and she loves candles. Hope I can get a few to make a small gift basket for her. 😀
