Oh, I saw this on twitter and thought it was a movie about time, as in a time-travelling movie. Very disappointed 😛

saw this last Thursday. really liked it. better than I thought. me and my bf saw it with the free screening posted awhile ago. he liked it too 🙂 and we got passes for that vegas movie as well when we saw it last week

How much time in advance should one go in able to get a seat? Are there long lines? Does anyone know if these passes are transferable?

      • tracy

it really depends on how you think your city people are with free screenings. I have been to multiple where like more than 100 show up and the last half don’t get through. then when I went last week there was hardly anyone there but then got packed when we were seated.i don’t think all the way full but still a lot of ppl showed up. it also depends on the movie and how big it is. If you have a small town and usually a not so crowded theatre I would go half an hour. just to be sure. but if you live in say new York or something def come an hour or more. also when I saw this they didn’t check id’s which when I had gone in the past for some movie they had checked. so it may or may not be. they have a list for when you signed up and you would be on that list. so idk if you mean to give to another person but no you cant set it for a different date

Thank you Tracy. Yes, i meant to give them to someone else.

i got passes for tonight and then we realized that my daughter’s choir concert is tonight. I was so bummed. I guess I’ll have to wait until it’s in the theater and pay for it 🙁

I live in a smaller city so I will NEVER find it on the list! However, I did get free Advanced screening of “About Time” at a local Marcus theater coz I signed up for their free “Spotlight movie club”. On top of this movie, they also email me free admission to 3D movies (older 3D movie though like Kongfu Panda2, Moster vs Aliens, Paranorman, How to train your Dragon…) so I’ve been taking my kids every weekend!

So if you don’t find your cities, try look up local theatre’s website and hopefully there’s a movie club/email list you can sign up to get free/discounted entertainment.

I tried redeeming passes earlier for a screening at an AMC theatre and the theatre would not honor the passes because I am not a “stub hub memeber!” They were very confused as to where I got the passes. So bummed!

  14. Terazo

I tried to use passes today and I was told I needed to be a stub member. 12 membership… And was denied Bc I couldn’t show card or proof of membership. We were late and it sold out so it was okay but just and FYI if your passes say stub on the top!!

  15. Elizabeth M

My daughter and I saw thus tonight! Loved it! And I had $10 on my stubs card so we got popcorn too;-).

  16. Jackie

Loved the movie 😉 happy we decided to go though next time I’ll need to read the fine print. We were told by AMC theater we had to buy the $12.00 membership card good for one year in order for them to honor the printed free screening pass.

it was awesome! thanks so much!
