NICE!!! Looks like a new version of the Brother machine I bought 12 years ago & still love!!!
This my sewing machine I have had for 2 years and LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! Very user friendly!! 🙂
I bought this when it was $189. Great sewing machine!! Great deal too!!
It’s $184.76 on walmart’s website now. So good deal but not a killer deal.
I bought Brother CP7500 when it was only $160 on Walmart.com. This CS6000i is quite similar and should be a good machine. I just didn’t like the 30 day return policy of Amazon especially when it’s a pricier product.
I bought this last year, great machine, and fairly simple to use, speaking from someone who can barely sew a button! 🙂
I just bought one because Collin said to hurry. My 9 year old daughter wants to learn how to sew. Her birthday is at the end of december so I’m thinking it will be a b-day present.
I was just thinking it would be a great Christmas present for my 10 year old who wants to learn how to sew as well 🙂
This is my sewing machine! I love it and its so user friendly. I had it up and running in 10 minutes and I had never touched a sewing machine pryer to that! I paid the same price for it at Walmart on roll-back. But now it is back up to $189. Worth every penny!
These sell for around $130 brand new in-box on eBay with Free Shipping just about every day. I wouldn’t ‘hurry’ for this ‘deal’ at all.
You can get this at a lower price from afterschool.com
It’s $146.99 but you can use promo code AFTERPLA for another $20 off. (You don’t need to be a new customer) My total was $126.99 plus 2% cash back from ebates.
They do require a phone number to schedule delivery.
I own this machine. Well worth the price. I paid 180 about 2 years ago.
I have this machine too and I love it. Great price.
Can somebody please tell me if I can use this to hem jeans?
All you need is a straight stitch to hem jeans so all sewing machines will allow you to.
A lot of machines will break needles on jeans since the material is so thick. I’m guessing she’s wondering if it’s like a serger?
You will need a certain size needle to use. Don’t know if you are referring to a serger.
You can purchase jeans needles that are sturdier and have a coating on them to make them glide through the fabric.
same price @ Target plus red card discount
Is it the same one? It looks a little different. I don’t know anything about sewing machines and don’t know what to comparing. The target one doesn’t seem to be discounted.
Costco is selling for around this price as well plus you have their guarantee. I’ve had mine that I bought from Costco for six years and it’s still running strong!
There was one complaint about having to take it in to get lubricated. Does anyone know any info about that ?
As a person who working in sewing for 8 hrs a day 3 day a week, working w leather every day, taking a machine in for lubrication is a normal thing, u should only have to do this once maybe 2 times in the 1st 5 yrs u own the machine( if u use the Mahoney an average amount or regular fabrics, NOT heavy duty fabrics or leather ) If u r needing to do work on jean/heavy material I recommend changing the needle( the manual will tell u how)
I am amazed with the discount……
