I did this on Sunday, I bought the men’s razor for $6.99 and I had a 25% off coupon plus the $3 coupon, so a nice moneymaker for me! 😀

  2. andrea

Is this limit 1? My brain isn’t working tonight

  3. debbie

I have a bunch of $5/1 from the coupon machine. Too bad the limits 1 but ones better than nothing:)

  4. Kayla

Can you use the 5 ebc in the same transaction you get them in?

    • Tarri

It prints out on the bottom of your receipt, you can use it on the next transaction.

  5. Loyda

I got 2 $5/1 CVS razor from the coupon machine last week.

  6. Carol_R

    Thanks Collin!

  7. Loyda

Is the 30% off coupon going to work with this deal?

    • Amy Stotts

Yep, it should work on this, because you’re paying the everyday price and getting ECB. It wouldn’t work if it was marked down.

  8. BoredOOMM

I have one of the Men’s razor and it does not last as long as the Schick Hydro 5 or the Gilette Fusion razors. I have about 2 weeks and the blade is pulling already. This compared to 9 weeks with the Schick Hydro!

  9. Mark

Please note that this deal is regional. You may not get the $5 ECB.

  10. Patricia

My CVS has them $8.49 no mm but still $0.49 cent

  11. Kathy

I received a Redbox coupon for $4 off any $12 shaving purchase. I was working on a deal with the CVS razor, and the Gillette Venus deal, using the aforementioned redbox coupon and the venus manufacturer coupon. My question is… can I now stack the CVS brand razor coupon on top of the manufacturer coup. and the Redbox as well??? Does anyone know??

    • rose

yes b/c the $4/12 redbox is off your total purchase, while the CVS brand razor is off a specific item and the manuf cpn is for your Venus.

  12. Brandi

I’m only seeing a $3 off coupon now. Anyone know if the $5 one is still out there anywhere?

    • Claudia

The coupon is $3/1, but you will receive $5 ECB, you are going to pay about $4 and receive $5. HTH.

      • Brandi

Oh haha thanks! Guess I should look a little closer next time. 🙂

        • rose

The $5 off was printing out at the magic machine. I got 2 last wk, one for the mens & one for the womens.

  13. Marlene

Thank you! Just went and got one for free 🙂

  14. steph

Definitely scan your card first. I received a $3 off an $8 purchase of any razor, blades, or shaving gels/creams. So I got the mens razor for $6.99 used the $3 coupon for that, picked up a cvs shaving cream for $1.57 and used the $3/$8 coupon also. Plus got the $5 ebucks for the razor. Hope all that makes sense.

  15. Lenay

Tried it today in central IL and it did not work for me 🙁 Oh well!

    • marie

Make sure you purchase the 5 blade and not the 3 blade. At my store they were mixed on the shelf/holder.

  16. rose

Collin, you should put that this is a REGIONAL deal. The only way you can verify if your area is participating is to ck the ad online (the new weekly ad version) If it shows up under the Extrabucks Offers, then your area is participating.

I tried to pair this CVS razor with Gillette Venus Razor ($7.39), total is $15.38, as I have a CVS machine coupon $4 off $15 on any razors/blades/shaver cream & also a $3 off Gillette venus razor. The cvs lady scan the $4/$15 coupon first follow by both $3 razor coupon, usually it doesn’t beep when the $4/$15 coupon is scan first but today it beeped and did not went through. Anyone encounter the same situation?

    • Kim

I forgot to add in that the $4/$15 coupon went through, $3 for the CVS razor went through but my gillette coupon $3 did not go through although it is a correct coupon. The cashier told me it beeps because I use $4/$15. I don’t understand and it doesn’t make sense to me since another $3 coupon for the CVS razor already went through.

      • rose

I had a similar problem a few wks ago. I had a $5 off from the magic red box & a $2/$10 shave purchase. The $2 off scanned, but the $5 would not. It beeped, but the cashier forced it though. The next wk, I used the $3 IP first, then my $/$$ coupon and it worked. So I think it might have to do with wonky coding.

Now, the manuf coupons, I’ve been reading that CVS has recently updated their registers and almost all manuf cpns are beeping. IDK why. I had a bizarre trip myself trying to use 2 $1 swiffer coupons. 1 went though fine, the 2nd beeped and the cashier gave it back to me saying it exceeded the amount. Which was totally incorrect as the price of the product was $5.79!!! They are going to tick A LOT of customers off if they don’t get this straightened out!

        • kdd4g2

I am a little confused now. I always thought we could only use one $4/20 coupon per transaction and were not allowed to use $2/10 razor or oral care etc coupon with it. Are there exceptions to this rule?

          • rose

You can use more than (1) $/$$ as long as you meet the criteria of -both- coupons (per the CVS Coupon policy). Like I got a $5/30 a few wks ago that I used with a $2/10 oral care b/c my subtotal was $40, $10+ was in oral care.

For the razor deal though, the above poster was only using (1) $4 off $15 shave purchase, along with the $3 off CVS Brand 5-Blade Razor. You can stack off your purchase coupons with other cvs store coupons for a specific item (IPs, home mailers, from the scanner, etc)

            HTH!

            • kdd4g2

Thank you so much Rose! That really helps 🙂

        • Kim

Hi Rose, thanks for sharing. Yes, I had quite a number of problems today at the checkout too. 🙁

  18. kdd4g2

Our cvs had these in a 3-pack version for $8.99, anyone knows if the deal is only for 1 razor or a multipack?

    • rose

Its only for the razor handle with 1 cartridge refill, not the disposables.

      • kdd4g2

Thank you so much for the clarification! I just realized this was a silly question after reading the picture posted 🙂

In Houston,tx I bought a cvs razor 5.99 pink ladys brand and got my 3 bucks back today

  20. Christie

I went to one CVS and scanned my card and got a $4 off 10 shaving needs coupon so I decided to get 2 razors since I had 2 $3 off and with the 5 ECB’s the second one would be free too. They had 1 women’s razor that’s it. So I got a rain-check for $6.99 and passed another CVS on the way to the DR and they had both however I made sure they price modified the cost of the razor because at that location it was $8.49 each. Location definitely plays a factor in each locations regular prices! I was so happy I got two free and each had 2 cartridges in them. I got the Free Schick razor that is comparable and it is by far my absolute FAVORITE razor that Collin posted a while back so I hope these are as good! Thank you soooo much Collin! You truly made my day! 😀

  21. Diana

In my CVS, the deal was buy for $10 CVS razors and get 3 ECBs. I had the calculations done for the mentioned deal 🙁

  22. Bran

My store only had cvs 3 blade but it got me 5 extra bucks too awesome it came with a lot of refills too

  23. tabitha

    any idea when this ends?

  24. ali

my store doesn’t have the single 5 blade…its just the multipacks for $8.49,,,so wasn’t sure if it would work or not
