My son had this and i loved it, easy to take o other locations
I have the exact same product from IKEA, and we love it. It is super easy to clean. Everything wipes right off, small enough to place in trunk to visit grandma on weekends and it is adjustable. Mine only cost like $10 I think. We bought it like 3 years ago and are using it still with him and my 2 year old.
This was one of my most useful baby/toddler items. Loved it.
I agree. One of the best baby/toddler items we have! Comes in very handy when going to restaurants, grandmas house, or friends house.
agreed! used for two kids already and travels well!
Same here…used for two kids & enjoyed it so much I bought another one for my mom to keep at her house. My oldest preferred this over his high chair once he was sitting up so we used it in our kitchen chair for every meal for a year or more. I never had problems with the straps coming loose. Would make a great gift or if you’re buying for yourself I see them ALL the time at garage sales for $5-10.
I have two of these because they are very affordable, but the straps are very cheap and move around VERY easily. They do not stay tightened around the chair and are not very secure. I think this product would be 5 stars for me if they made better more secure straps.
We LOVED this chair! So easy to set up, versatile, easy to take with us, and eliminated the need for a separate high chair. While I didn’t feel that the straps were cheap, they did move easily unless we really wrenched them down tightly. We put a dish towel along the chair underneath the straps. It helped hold the straps securely in place and kept them from rubbing the finish off the chair.
I just bought this booster seat for baby #2 on the way and a Brest Friend pillow for a total of $35.03 for both items to get free shipping. Hurry though, there are only a few Pillows left marked down from $35 to 16.29. I saw the pillow discount on thesavybump.com https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HZEQSU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000HZEQSU&linkCode=as2&tag=wwwhip2saveco-20
Thanks for the heads up! I’m going to get the Brest Friend pillow!
We LOVE this chair! We found ours on clearance at Target a few months ago for $8! We will be getting one for friends who are expecting soon!
Used it for both my babies…better than a high chair imo!
This is a great seat for a firstborn child…. I so WISH I could buy one… BUT…. I have to warn anyone with older children that it is possible that the whole thing can be tipped over. My previous dining room set had smaller chairs that were not very heavy. I remember one time when an older kid knocked the whole chair over with the baby in it.
Just an FYI… hopefully none of you have children as crazy as mine!
We have this one as our travel booster seat. We keep it in the car and use it when we are eating out at restaurants and visiting others. It is super easy to clean and the straps stay put. I love how well it folds up.
The picture of that mom cracks me up – what is she doing in the wilderness with just her baby and a booster chair that gives her time to stop and stare adoringly at her child? (And did she color coordinate her outfit to her baby gear on purpose?) LOL
That being said we had a similar product from another brand and ended up using it a lot more frequently and a lot longer than our full sized, reclining, cushioned high chair and it really was great for visiting grandparents/holidays/etc.
