YUM! I LOVE when cheese coupons like this pop up! Head on over to the Cacique USA Facebook page and click on the Autentico Cheese Society tab to join the community. Just click on the “Continue” button at the bottom a few times, then fill out your mailing info and click on the “Join the Society” button.  After doing so, it should state your welcome letter and coupons are on the way. From what I’ve heard, we should receive the following coupons in the mail:

One $2/1 Cacique Coupon
Three $1/1 Cacique Coupons

Cacique Cheese starts in price around $2.68 at Walmart, so just $0.68 after the $2 coupon that we’ll be receiving in the mail (hopefully soon!).

I received these a while back and they’ve consistently had several Cacique varieties on sale at Vons for $2.50. I just bought the Queso Quesadilla cheese last week with my $1/1 coupon so $1.50. Every now and again I’ve seen them priced at $2. =)

Just wondering what I can use this type of cheese in? Any suggestions- Thanks!

Anything mexican! Steak taco’s with cillantro, real mexican sour cream or a good brand, corn tortillas, lime, and this cheese! So good! Great for burritos, too. Mmmmmm

Perfect complement to a variety of dishes, by either providing contrast to a heavier dish like enchiladas or huevos rancheros, or by complementing something equally light, like salads or grilled vegetables. Queso fresco has a trademark salty-sour kick, and while it’s creamy by nature of its freshness, it’s not rich or buttery tasting.

I love using it to make chilaquiles. A friends taught me how. You can google for a recipe…super easy.

Not sure what kind of cheese this is. Is it like mozzarella?

    • Caramia

KC its not like mozzarella. Its really good, the texture is soft, mushy, moist. Its soft enough that you can’t shred it. The most popular one is queso fresco. hope this helps!

      • d

Put it in the freezer for a bit to harden and then you can shred it.

    • Sara

You use it on enchiladas, and tostadas
