Is this a limited-time offer (do you have to sign up by a certain date) or will this be available forever?

  • Gwenny says:

Do you have to pay with that card? I have a business ae card, could i sign up with that and pay with my visa or any card?

    • Suzanne H says:

Your Am Ex has to be your default card on the account but I don’t know if you can change it. You probably need to call Am Ex to ask.

  • Zos says:

I have Amex for over a year and was eligible. Just enter your card number and exp date and if u have already SR account , u will have to log in.
Don’t use it too often however love to save on S&H so may become handy.
    Thank you Collin!!!!

  • Laura says:

This is a crazy good deal – thank you, Collin!!!!

  • Ann says:

Seriously, they are not going to ever charge membership?

  • Ann says:

    Treatment of Existing ShopRunner Memberships.
If you enroll in the benefit and sign up with an existing ShopRunner account, ShopRunner will cancel the term of your existing ShopRunner account.

If you paid a fee for any unused portion of the cancelled term of membership, ShopRunner will provide you with a pro rata refund for that portion in accordance with ShopRunner’s refund policy. The refund will be processed within 2-4 weeks after enrollment and will be issued to the payment method you used to pay the fee.

If a portion of the cancelled term of membership was promotional or free, the free period will be cancelled by ShopRunner and forfeited by you. If you currently have a free or promotional membership on your ShopRunner account, you should consider whether to enroll in the benefit at this time.

???My question is why would they say to consider it if it is a free membership for life instead of a free one that has an expiration date???

  • Christine says:

They can’t even give membership away, can they? I can’t imagine anyone actually pays for their service. Most of their stores offer free shipping anyway and half of the stores no one shops at anyway. And they couple good ones like and toy r us make half the items unavailable for free shipping. All I use my free membership for is to save the dollar delivery fee when I order dominoes lol

    • Carrie says:

I feel the same way! I’ve not had to pay (due to Collin’s good deals) for their services for the last 2 years. I was fine with free, as I rarely was able to find anything eligible from the few sites I liked on there. I guess if you use it, fine… as for myself, I’d rather do Amazon Prime for this price.

      • Carrie says:

Just FYI, check you existing account to see when it expires. I have no cc info on my account. I got a one year free membership this time last year. Upon looking at my account this morning, it’s good thru next June…I never renewed.

  • Samantha says:

Just FYI, the last time they ran this promotion my American Express Delta Skymiles card was not eligible, but just to be sure I checked this time and it went through no problem..

  • Suzanne H says:

Great deal. I just used my existing free (for 1 year) Shoprunner account and it transferred right over. Now I don’t have to worry about canceling my service before they start charging me!

  • Megan says:

I don’t use ShopRunner that often because the stores that offer it usually don’t allow it for the stuff I want to buy. I actually was able to use it the other day for free shipping from Claire’s. That was a $6 savings. However, I have had an Amex for years now and I will take the free ShopRunner membership for sure. You never know when it might come in handy and free is free.

  • brendaw says:

If you have a teenager in your life, free 2 day shipping at American Eagle comes in handy big time!

  • Tarri says:

That was easy, I already had signed up with free membership for a year or two with Amex before and this gave me the option when I signed in to sign up for free for lifetime. :)

  • Nicole says:

Nice!! I enrolled with my AMEX previously and it just updated to lifetime with three clicks ( didn’t even have to re-enter any info). Easy!!!

  • Candice says:

Does the shoprunner membership ever expire if u canceled ur American express credit card?
