My target said I cant scan cartwheel before manufacture coupon…has anyone else had this issue?

    • Ashley R

yeah, you have to scan cartwheel last. I’ve noticed that when cartwheel is scanned it asks the cashier on their screen to make sure all other coupons have already been scanned.

Target said I couldnt use the Cartwheel offer before manufacturer coupon… Has anyone else had this issue? (Tried to send this comment in through my phone but I dont see it)

    • daisy

As far as I know Cartwheel should be the last thing you hand them. I believe if you give it to them 1st the register crashes from what I have heard from other people. Personally I have always handed it last. It mentions that it should be last in cartwheel.com see below:

Offer valid in store only. Limit no more than one manufacturer coupon, one Target coupon and one Cartwheel offer can be combined per item. Scan all other coupons before scanning your Cartwheel barcode in store. Each Cartwheel offer may be used for up to a maximum of 4 qualifying items per offer per transaction, unless otherwise noted. Limit of 1 Cartwheel barcode per transaction and 6 Cartwheel barcode transactions per day. Void if copied, scanned, altered, transferred, purchased, sold, or prohibited by law. Item(s) may not be available at all stores. Not valid in Canada. Offer value may not exceed value of item purchased. No cash value.

I always give my cartwheel last. I’ve read that if you give it first, the register will lock up.

      • Heather Nicosia (@HeatherNicosia)

I looked it up after I had the issue so they are following the policy. Thanks for replying! Every bit counts but it wont make for as good of a deal if cartwheel has to be scanned last.

        • mel

Not following how its not a good deal?? The % off is taken off the sale price of $11.89, then $3 less for the cpn. Cartwheel does not apply the savings after manuf cpns if you were thinking $11.89-$3 – 30% (which would actually cost more than applying CW first, then handing the manuf cpn)

    • NL

Yes. They have to do the paper coupons and maybe the mobile target q’s first. The register prompts for it

      • Heather Nicosia (@HeatherNicosia)

        Thanks!

    • Mrs. Waller

They have to scan cartwheel last at my Target also. When cartwheel is scanned, the register actually asks if all coupons been scanned before giving your total.

      • Heather Nicosia (@HeatherNicosia)

Thanks! I’m glad I’m not the only one. 🙂

  5. Teresa

Can you price match to Toys R Us and get even better deals?

    • daisy

Heading to target now, I will update you if they let me 😉

      • daisy

I was able to do it with the battleship and game of life. You can do scrabble too. I did scrabble jr which wasn’t price matched. It was $12 before tax, after was $13.84

    • Angela

Yes u can…I did it. Battleship for $4, price match with toys r us

  6. Rebecca

Per Target, all MQ and TQ are deducted before cartwheel savings. So the total cost for these items will actually be higher than what’s listed in the post.

    • daisy

I might be wrong but I almost have $50 of saving already in cartwheel and the cartwheel discount has always been taken after the TQ and before the MQ so let’s say we are purchasing something that is $10 and have a $2 TQ, $2 MQ and 20% carthwheel. My breakdown is $10- $2TQ-20% cartwheel($1.60)- $2MQ =$ 4.40

      • daisy

You give all the coupons first then the cartwheel but the register calculates it different is what I was trying to say. haha. I believe collin is correct with the pricing.

        • Heather Nicosia (@HeatherNicosia)

My Target made me hand over all coupons before I could use Cartwheel (says in their policy).. I tried to do the playdoh ice cream deal. If they did the cartwheel before my manufacturing coupon I would have gotten 3.00 off from cartwheel.. but since they wouldnt I was only going to get a dollar something off. I was bummed!

          • mel

manuf coupons have no bearing on how much cartwheel takes off. However, if you give a Target coupon, then cartwheel takes off after that. Say there’s a $2 off battleship Target IP, then cw would apply the % off on $9.89.

          • daisy

I did the Play-doh deal handed the printed coupon and then cartwheel, did take off the 2.99 weird. I did the deal in 2 different stores because they only had 1 in one and had to go to another. Both worked for me.

  7. kacee

Cartwheel is always last. Its in their policy and the register always ask “have all other coupons been scanned?” I was also curious why the cartwheel was posted first, since the policy states it has to be last.

  8. Angela

I priced match at target, using toys r us ad and got battleship for $4.33 after tax. pretty good deal huh..

  9. Koala

I can’t seem to find the coupons. Is there a specific zip code?

  10. michele

    I can’t find it either…. I’m afraid it’s all printed out.

  11. Lindsey

    Boo, printable coupon is gone.

  12. Ann

Was the SS coupon regional? I can’t seem to find it!

  13. Jacq

At my Target The Game of Life is $18.99. Price matched it to ToysRUs for $10. Used the $3 mfq and 30% off Cartwheel(deducts $3) sooo I got two of them for $4 each. FYI-Battleship and scrabble is also $10 in ToysRUs ad thru Saturday. $4 also if you price match them at Target.
