The one at Best Buy on Black Friday is the previous generation. If you go to best buy site and see the black friday ad it gives you the direct item link.

I had a $40 off coupon towards various kindles in my Amazon account including 3 kindle fires. Seems like a good deal, making the HD version $99. Not sure if this offer was because I don’t have a kindle. I’m not a Prime member so perhaps it’s their way of reeling me in 😉

They have been offering the $40 coupon to select customers (I am not sure if its random or what). You have to log into your amazon account and go to the main page. If you are selected, the coupon will be on the top. I did this yesterday. I logged into my own account, there was no offer. So I logged into my boyfriend’s account and he had it. Not sure how they are selecting people to get the offer.

When you check out it will show 2 items, 1) 15.00GC, 2) the kindle showing price of 139.00 minus the GC price will be 124.00. You will be charged 124.00, then charged 15.00. You are charged a total of 139.00, but will get a 15.00 GC in the mail.
