Will the book have conventional recipes or unconventional? Do you know?

Looks like lots of down home Southern type cooking with a splash of Cajun type recipes. If you go to and search for the title, click on the book cover and a box will pop up, on the left side click Index and you can see the recipe names.

This is from the back cover –

Writing a cookbook for people who love good food has been a lifelong dream for me—and I’m so happy to be sharing some of our family’s favorite recipes with you! In this book you’ll find everything from Jase’s Favorite Sweet Potato Pie to Phil’s own special recipes, like his scrumptious Crawfish Fettuccine. There’s “girly” food for a gathering of your best girlfriends, like Aunt Judy’s Cranberry Salad, as well as dishes straight from the hunt like Boiled Squirrel and Dumplings.

We believe that food and cooking bring people together—it’s brought our family together for generations, and it can do the same for yours. Gather your family around the table and serve up delicious home-cooked meals with recipes like . . .

      • Melt-in-Your-Mouth Biscuits
      • Cheesy Corn Casserole
      • Fresh Strawberry Pie

      • Crawfish Balls

Hey Collin, that’s great. I think I’ll grab it. My hubby and I are licensed distributors of the Duck Commander and Buck Commander products and have a site for our products. If you are interested, I would like to offer your readers a discount code within the next couple of weeks. I didn’t put the site here as I’m not trying to take advantage of this post, if that makes sense.

My husband is also obsessed with Duck Dynasty…he is from south Louisiana, so I think that explains it. Miss Kay looks like an excellent cook, so I will be excited to see some recipes!

  • Tammi says:

Unfortunately it’s not the whole book, but you get a sampling of some of the recipes in the book. Free is free though so thank you!

  • KJ says:

I downloaded the app and redeemed the code, how do I view the book sampling?

  • deb says:

does it have to be Kindle HD? I have the Kindle…..

  • Lori Koelewyn says:

I have made quite a few of the recipes & they we tasty. But when I tried to make the blackberry jam cake I burned it because I followed the institution. What is the correct temp. to bake the cake? Thank you.
