Hmm, I did the toilet set deal that gave 10,000 points ($10) so I wonder if I USE those points on the shoes, if I’d get ANOTHER 10,000 POINTS. May have to play with the site a bit during my lunch today and see…could be totally free!
I just did that exact same thing lol. It worked fine. I pretty much just rolled my syw reward points. I ended up paying $.66 oop after using my $10 in points and earned another $10
Huh, my $10 from the toilet seat was not showing in the account. Not sure what happened to that…oh well, was still a good deal. Would’ve been better if I’d been able to “roll” that reward…
I’m a little disappointed because I rolled my points to get a toilet seat and didn’t get 10,000 points. So I guess I can’t roll the points 🙁
My points didn’t show up. I called the SYW number and they had it credited to my account in about 5 minutes. I also did use points to pay for the toilet seat. Maybe I’m just getting lucky with the service reps? I had to call SYW twice in about a week and had no problems except the first person had a hard time finding the offer. (they have to find the offer code in order to credit your points)

I had the same issue with my points not showing up. I called Kmart customer service last night over this same issue and they had it fixed in about 5 minutes.
I have not gotten my points from my toilet seats yet — I called them on Friday — they told me 1 I was not eligible for because I used a $1.43 worth of SYW rewards when I purchased the toilet seat (even though it was showing I would get the 10000 on the toilet seat when I checked out. I told them this — I told them I would not have traded $1.43 credit for a $10.00 credit — they said they would look into it
The others they said they were aware there was issues with the toilet seats and were coming to a conclusion whether or not they were going to pay them and would be emailing me.
I am not participating in any of their other offers til they honor that one.
I even had an email from them on the toilet seats showing that several of them came out FREE (it actually showed $0.00) after SYWR
Now they are trying to get out of it
So I may be returning my toilet seats
I had issues with the points many times in the past. It is a bit of a hassle because you always have to check and make sure the points show. If you shop there frequently it can get confusing. Nevertheless, when I call them they have ALWAYS fixed my problem. Just a matter of being pro active about checking your balance. I love Sears.
I am so annoyed. I rolled points I had for the toilet seat, and now they aren’t in my account so I can’t get the shoes. I tried to call and he said there was nothing he could do for me, he told me to forward the e-mail saying I could get points. 🙁

I thought my shop your way worked for both Sears and Kmart, I am signed in to Sears but it doesn’t show my points that Kmart does. Any way to link them so I can use my KMart points for a sears purchase.
Seems like I had the same issue. I had $10 in rewards on the toilet seat from a couple weeks ago, thru Kmart, and that did not show in my Sears SYWR account…I thought they were linked too. Strange…
I had the same issue with my points not showing up. Not sure what happened, but I called Kmart customer service and the had the issue resolved within 5 minutes.
Just called customer service and they fixed them for me, I had to accounts that were showing up, a maiden name and married name under the same account. They linked them and I just used my points to purchase shoes for my sister for christmas for only .18 plus $10 back!

How long does it take for the points to show on your account?
Within a few minutes my points showed up in my account.
Is there a way to verify that you’ll earn 10,000 pts. before purchasing. I know and can see the ones that read “+ earn points”, but when I click on it, it shows like 93 pts. or 36 pts only. ???
Mine did the same until I added them to my cart, and then in my cart it shows I’ll be getting the full points.

IS this offer targetd? I am not logged into my SWYM account and am not seeing any 10,000 bonus points for any of the shoes listed above.
I am logged in and doesn’t look like it’s working, either.
When I clicked the points earned it didn’t show bonus but when you add them to your cart it should show on the right side your current points and points earned from this purchase, if you make it, and it should say 10,000+ points. It did give me my points within a half hour after my purchase (I turned around and used it to purchase another pair) but I had to log out and log back in to see the points show up.

Also, I’m not sure if this is related, but at the right side of my confirmation page was an offer for $10 off good to use Nov. 18 – 25th. Anyone else get this? I wonder if it is a separate coupon or what? Nonetheless, I loaded it to my card.

The “math” on this type of deal kills me — because people will then turn around and use those points and say “I got this for free! And a pair of shoes for $1!” No, you had to spend money at some point.
So be careful with these deals because you are spending money out of pocket, obviously!
Relax. How else are you going to buy a pair of shoes and get the money right back? It’s a great deal.
Some people aren’t spending any money out of pocket at all because they are rolling points they already have.
Obviously, we all realize how much, if any, we are spending oop. I myself only spent $.66 on my daughter’s shoes for Christmas. The points were already there for me to spend and in return, I received another $10 in points. Where else could I have gone to purchase a nice pair of shoes for under a buck, much less get rewarded with another $10 in store credit to use later?
Collin always posts clearly “after rewards, after ECBs, after points”, etc. I guess when people enter their cc info they are very well aware they are spending the money…

Seems like rolling is limit to 5, my 6 th transaction didn’t work. Says points cannot be redeemed. Bought different shoes each time.

I just used points to buy one pair of boots, and in my email confirmation, it stated that “pending points earned, bonus points 10000”. I guess I will find out if I really receive those 10,000 points tomorrow.

I just tried to order another pair of girls boots, and I used gift card as payment. Guess what, my points showed up right away. It stated “Total Base Points : 136; Total Bonus Points : 10,272”. Now I am wondering if I will get those 10,000 for my first order that I used all points as payment instead of gift card/credit card.
Nevermind, I see it now. It’s when you actually click more details and it has to say it on there. Just ordered the flats, pewter was out in my size, so I ordered black. Thanks for the deal!

This looks like a dead deal. At least for me anyway…I’m not seeing where it says I’ll earn 10,000 in points and I followed Collin’s instructions to the letter. It says I’ll only earn 143 on my next purchase.

Collin-please alert other hipsters***Beware-Sears & Kmart has since changed their SYWR shipping program now with shop your way max you have to spend @ least $30-no more free shipping-you now have to have a minimum balance in order to qualify for free shipping before they implemented this change there was no minimum–BEWARE

According to SYWR (just got off the phone) they said you will not receive your 10,000 bonus points if you redeem points, I think they just fixed the glitch as some of you have reported getting your points even though you redeemed points. Just a heads up for those who do this offer, its a great offer anyway, just don’t redeem points if you want the 10,000 bonus points.
Odd because I got my points and I redeemed points. I did two orders only and I got my first set of 10,000 points right away. I did another order and my second set of points are showing up available to use on sears.com and kmart.com but don’t show up yet in my shopyourwayrewards.com account but it does show I earned the 10,000 bonus points on both of my orders on shopyourwayrewards.com.
Exactly right!!! I placed three orders. First one was paid with points. Second and third orders were paid with gift cards. No bonus 10000 points for my first order! Received bonus 10000 points for my second and third order right away!!!
I got the 10,000 points when I paid with points. I also had to pay something out of pocket for each order I think if your entire order is free after you redeem points that is why you don’t earn the points.
Its odd because so many of their SYWR offers “unlock” points when you use points, so I have always being under the impression they encourage customers to actually redeem their points. Oh well…

I will try it again but don’t see the problem

Just wanted to say thanks for all you do. I have 5 children and Christmas is always challenging to say the least lol. These deals you post really help me stretch my dollar. So far I have managed to get quite a few free samples to use as stocking stuffers for my 18 year old daughter along with a scrabble flash game and yahtzee flash game, one for free and one for a dollar. I also managed to snag the toilet seat deal which we badly needed and get the $10 in points which allowed me to buy my oldest shoes for under a buck and snag another $10 in points to use on a couple of toys. Worked for me several times. My last transaction was a few minutes ago. I purchased all bongo brand either the $11.04 ones or $12.74 ones. My points rolled to each time. Awesome! It shows you that you will earn the points once they are in your cart. The 10,000 points doesn’t work on all of them ( didn’t work for the black woven boots I tried for $16 something)
