Probiotic, pantiliners, and Hersey singles did not print ebs for me but the manager printed them out for me 🙂

  2. Randi

Thank you!!! I just went and paid $79, but got back $69 in ecb’s!!!! All I paid for was 1 item that didn’t have ecb’s and tax! Super excited!

  3. Lala

I wasted gas and time. My 24hr CVS decided to close at 11pm saturday and will be open sunday at 6am. They said they have to prepare for the sale. Lol. I guess I will have to beat the crowd tomorrow morning. Bummer!

    • Sheryl

Yeah. CVS… My store was all organized with all the deals up front on a rack… I added a few sale items, used old ECBs with it, and used my $5 off $15 to sweeten the deal… Paid only pennies. I was surprised that walgreens didn’t have a similar sale but I’ll gladly buy what I can get

    • Joni

My CVS is a 24 hour store as well, but they started the sale at midnight so my daughter and I were the only people in the store and got everything we wanted. It was awesome!

  4. Jackie

    Does CVS accept expired ECBs?

    • Rachel

Yes! Up to 6 months 🙂 And coupons too per a new policy (at least until January 1) My cashier filled me in on all the changes last time. Helpful for me because I always realize a day or two late that it expired.

      • Brandi

Really? Mine will not accept expired coupons at all and only take expired ECB’s a day or two after expiration.

        • Diane

Mine doesn’t accept expired coupons or ECB’s, so be sure to ask at your local store.

          • mel

actually with the new register update, the cashier can approve an expired ECB & MCM coupon for 14 days past exp. My store before the update, allowed 30 days. Never 6 months! But always best to ask, as some stores, even with the update are refusing expireds.

            • Rachel

Yea I was pretty suprised!! Its interesting how every store has different policies.

            • Jeff Walker

Mine will take them expired months or year, no mater how long.

        • Jeff Walker

Mine excepts years past expiration when the new system came into play.

      • Tia

        6 months? Wow!

      • luz

Where does that happen? I have more than $30

      • Kaylyn

No we can only accepts extra buck 2 weeks after the expire date. Headquarters has changed the register on us. NOthing we can do about. But some CVS stores are overriding the register and Headquarters isn’t happy about it so they are going to update the registers once again and not allow us to override. This is slowing happening now. Oh and do not lead your extra bucks on your card because when it expires there is not going back. ALways have your coupon printed just in case it does expire you can still have a few days to go in and use it.

        • Jeff Walker

I did my shopping Saturday and one my favorite cashiers told me coporate told them excecpt expired ALL CVS COUPONS, no madder how far they are expired and they told the customers that and then corporate came back and told them to only except them so far expired but they are don’t that because customers where told other wise.. Plus I used a coupon that expired in June and the cashier didn’t have to push it through she scanned it and had to hit the verify button and it worked!

    • Suzanne H

Not anymore. They used to up until a few weeks ago. I tried to use a $5 ECB a day after it expired. They told me to call 800SHOPCVS and they would reissue it to me. Called them and the rather rude rep told me they had just stopped doing that as well. I love CVS and will continue to shop there but was rather irritated that they didn’t inform their customers of the shift in policy and then wouldn’t honor the ECBs I had.

      • cathycampo

I didn’t even know they would accept expired ECBS in the past. I think that is pretty generous of them to reissue the expired ECBs in the past. I will keep trying to use the ECBs by the expiration date.

      • Jeff Walker

I wouldn’t tell people yes or no, because it veries by store. Mine was told to except them expired for years ago; then they said x amount of weeks; by the time they told the customers they would except them from x amount of expirations they where told; no to except; by that time they already the cumsoters and couldn’t go back on their word..

  5. Meme

Just got back from CVS I saved $37.20 and only paid $1.15 oop (including sales tax, Ecb’s back, and a Newspaper! 🙂 My CVS was so organized they had Everything all on 1 rack right in front of store. I love that 🙂 Even the manager stopped and said you know how to do this right? I smiled and said “Yes I think I got it lol” He must be a new manager because I cant believe he’s never seen me before! 🙂

    • steph

Mine was very organized and had plenty of stock plus extra stock waiting in bins behind the counter. Everything rang up correctly and all the eb’s printed out like they should. Fun morning!

  6. steph

Did anyone try to use the $1 Sierra Mist coupon? Was Sierra Mist part of the Pepsi 2L .69 deal? Curious.

    • chester

yes, sierra mist is part of the pepsi deal, 0.69 + 0.10 crv (in CA) and i got overage too!

    • Lindsay

It is part of the sale and the coupon takes off the whole $1

      • steph

        Awesome! Thanks!

  7. Lisa

Will the 25 percent off coupon work on any of the ECB’S deals?

    • Lindsay

Some of the items, the .99 advil and the .99 lines were regular price, so may work for those.

      • Lindsay

        liners*

  8. Kelley

Just came back from CVS. Spent 28.14 on 20 items doing two separate transactions. This included three boxes of Ghirardelli chocolate using coupons from their site for two of them and using the 2/7 at CVS! They were 2/6 last week though, but with the coupons and the sale, I got them for free! I also used a 2.00 off coupon that I received from BioTrue for asking for a free sample. With this weeks sale, I saved 3.50 and another 2.00, and got an 10 ounce bottle for 2.50!!! Look out for the Starbucks coffee too! WORD OF CAUTION…my CVS was still trying to put the sale tags on the shelves when I was there. It was hard to know what was on sale w/out having to look at the flyer!

  9. lori

i have a question, I was just at cvs and bought the pay pal card for 150.00, and you get the 50.00 eb back. now I cant find my receipt with the eb on it. what should I do, anyone have any suggestions.

    • catherine

I think you can print it out from cvs.com once you have logged in.

    • Jade

i didnt see that deal for paypal. is that regional?

      • lori

Collin posted about it this morning.

  10. Karen

I did 5 transactions, 2 at a time 2x then 3. There was only a few customers in the store too. The cashier said they were all there at 8am…I was at Walgreens then and they were pretty empty too! Anyway, I only paid 4.57 inc tax oop! And according to the receipts I saved $99.53!!!

  11. Kidsallgone

Well I just spent forever printing off my coupons on my wireless printer from the comfort of my recliner. I heard the printer turn on for each one. On some I was able to click on the back button to get two! Was so excited to score so many! Went into the room with my printer and all but one of the 20 coupons were blank because the ink had run out!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta laugh or else I’d be crying LOL! OK, so who has the best deals on ink this week?!!!?

    • S

      I need some too!

    • sheena

buy a refillable ink cartridge off ebay.. i bought a kit for like $90, and havent had to buy ink in my printer for over a year now!! and only had to refill it twice. (super easy) the ones u buy are barely filled so run out so quick, the refillable ones u can fill up the whole thing, so they last MUCHHHHH longer. and soooo much cheaper.. i still have 80% of the ink my kit came with but when i do need to replace them, its like $7 a bottle… ill never go back to buying cartrdiges again!

      • cathy

what brand / model printer do you have that accepts the refillable ink cartridges? i’m interested in getting a new/used printer and would like to do this.

    • Nina

go to Staples. Collin posted about the 20% off, that’s how I usually buy my ink!

  12. Craig

    Got a question..
Can you use ECB to buy these gift cards? Im assuming no. Somebody posted there is a ECB with a Paypal gift card. -Thats what Id like to get!!, but how on earth do we spend $50 (the ECB) when all the deals at CVS are soo cheap. I hardly ever pay more then $10 oop. and that would be a stretch. lol

  13. edy

The gum toothbrushes limit is 3, macaronni 2,sparkle 2, and venus 6.99 gave the 5 bucks. Everything they had at my cvs houston tx

  14. steph

Has anyone used the Total home CVS brand laundry detergent that is generating the extrabucks? I didn’t look until I got home but it doesn’t say on the bottle anywhere if it is for use in HE machines or front loaders. May have to call CVS to find out. May end up donating if not.

    • Jennifer K.

It doesn’t say it’s for HE machines so I won’t be using it. I got it this morning and will take it to my mom’s to use over Thanksgiving. We always use her detergent when we come to visit so this time I’ll bring my own ;). It’s a cute sized bottle.

    • Suzanne H

You can use regular detergent in an HE machine, you just have to use less so it doesn’t sud too much. Told to me by a repair man and I’ve been doing it for 8 years now without problems.

      • mel

you can.. but beware the “formula” for HE & Regular detergent is different. Even if you use less, it can still gum up the insides of your machine. My neighbor just had to replace her machine b/c she thought she could get away with using less detergent. Her machine was so funky and mildewed, even using a hot water w/vinegar wash every month. It was cheaper for her to replace than repair. I am not taking any chances with my machine, I only use HE. I did buy the bottle though just to have on hand b/c my Dh handwashes his & the boys bball caps.

  15. Jade

CVS Visine $4 Q beeps and cashier wouldn’t take it. Said the machine said it couldn’t be found. Weird since it was a cvs coupon.

    • steph

My cashier had to override my $4 coupon but it finally took.

      • mel

Its coded strange and actually ADDING $4 as a taxable charge! She’d void it off, scan it and it’d charge $4 again!! Finally, I asked here to just void the Visine off and I paid for it separately b/c the manager had to do the override.

    • CW

There was a typed 8×11 sign up hanging on the register at my CVS store that the $4 CVS Visine coupon is not working and they will not honor it. (Royal Palm Beach, FL)

    • Karen

Same here… the $4 Visine coupon was adding to the total instead of subtracting. The cashier said they all were doing that. The manager had to deduct the amount charged and then deduct the $4 coupon. So glad my cashier was aware of it.

      • Kathryn

Oh darn! I just noticed that my visine coupon added 4 dollars too! I guess I will have to go back to get that adjusted…On the plus side the hershey’s kisses at my store were only 3.99/bag making them only .20 per bag! 🙂 I also noticed, as I think someone else mentioned above, the sparkle and the kraft limits are 2 each.

  16. Diane

I had something odd happen when I used the printable CVS coupon for the Visine eye drops. Instead of taking $4 off as a coupon, it charged me $4 for “1 taxable item”. Thankfully, the cashier caught this and corrected it. Also, he said my store never got in any of the Somnapure or the Migraine Relief. Was this the case at other stores, too?

    • steph

Both CVS stores I shop at had the somnapure items.

    • Samantha

My Visine coupon did the same thing!! Unfortunately I didn’t catch it until after I paid, but they refunded me the $8 (the $4 added on and $4 for the coupon).

    • TravelSuz

My store didn’t get the Migraine Relief or the Ricola but had everything else.

  17. Sarah m

Sorry if I missed anyone else mentioning this, but at my CVS (northern VA) they had special packs of Nivea with 2 tubes for the price of one on an end cap near the chapstick. They still rang up at 2/$5. So with the $3/2 coupon it was 4 tubes for $2! 🙂

  18. Cherie

My cvs would not take the $4 visine coupon either and said it wasn’t on file. I spent $16 and change oop and have over $17 in ecbs back 🙂

  19. Jodi

Spent $6 & got: milk, 6 deodorants, 2 All detergents, 2 candies,2 sodas for me, gum, small baby wipes, paper towel roll &toothpaste! Could have been better if I’d thought ahead to use my $5/$15:(

    • Katy

      How did you get a $5 off a $15?

  20. Vishnu

Got most freebies and found peelies on childrens Advil 2$/1, 2$ mm.

    • Tiffany White

No, most of the deals are limited to one per card. It wont generate more ECB if you go back.

  21. Natalya

Question, so I just got back from CVS and now have $18 in ECB. Can I go back and buy all the same deals, pay with my ECB and get more ECB?

    • M

Yes, as long as you haven’t reached the limit for each offer! Most of these deals are limit 1 so you wouldn’t get more ECBs, but take a look at the bottom of your receipt! The limits for the items you purchased are listed there. 🙂

    • Seth

Usually the limit it one per card. So with that being said, it will track on your card so you will not be able to do the deals again. Unless…look at your receipt and if it says limit reached then no, if it says “1 more to reach limit” then yes you could buy them again.

      • Natalya

Thanks. So my receipt says offer limit reached for everything but it also says balance of 1 for everything? For the sparkle paper towels i used the BOGO and got a $2 ECB. It says offer limit reached. Balance 2? How do we find out the true limits?

        • Seth

It will say just that “Offer limit reached”, then it gives you how many times you can do it, which was 2. Some times it will say you need “x” amount to get ECB’s so you’ll have to figure that one out when it happens. Most of the time, CVS has limits of one or two. Just check your receipt after check out. : )

I was hoping to pick up the Colgate Total on sale for $3 this week that would be $0.50 after $2.50 instant coupon but my instant coupon says $2.50 off Colgate Max 4-4.2 oz. I couldn’t find any Colgate Max in that size. Anyone else have this problem?

    • Caity Tarbert

yes! I got a 2.50 off colgate max. when I went to shop this morning, none fo the sale prices were marked yet, so I just went home and figured I’d try again for the Colgate later

    • Jennifer K.

My coupon said that, too, but the Colgate Totals were the only ones marked with a hang tag advertising the coupon center coupon so I bought one that was marked and it worked fine.

      • Diane

Yes, I was able to use the coupon on the Colgate Total, too. Use of the coupon was encouraged on the sign on the shelf under the Colgate Total.

    • Shirley

My store shelves were empty of Colgate Max toothpaste. The manager said the picture in the ad shows Colgate Total toothpaste. He checked the price on the red machine, $3, and the cashier tested it with the coupon. It went through no problem.

  23. Nicoley

Gawd I wish there was a CVS here! They are opening one down the street from me (finally!) but it won’t be actually open until summer 2014 :(. Hopefully they will have awesome deals like this next holiday season!

  24. Cindy G

Sparkle paper towels was an even better deal than stated. I printed the Buy 1 get 1 free coupon and paid $1.06. Then got a print out of $2 in ECB so this was a money maker!!!!My store was out of the starbucks drinks & advil tablets

    • Samantha

This worked for me too, but I’m not sure if it was supposed to. My receipt says
      “Sparkle, Buy 1 Get 1 EB — 2
      Offer limit reached.”

      • Laura

Sparkle was actually limit 2… so it worked right!

  25. Cristina

Did anyone tried the Dove deodorant deal wich ones can we buy and use coupons I have a coupon from the red machine it’s $2 off 2 men deodorant and I got another one that is $1.50 off $4 deodorant. I couldn’t get any of the deals my three kids were sick and I did not want to get them out in the cold.

    • Lauren

I know it doesn’t include the go fresh ones.

  26. jill

i made 3 trips and took my husband on trip number 3…wised up the deal on gift cards on trip number 3…the pay pal deal was not working as per word coming from the cvs rm but we collected 50 on 2 100 dollar multi store gc for gap etc…i collected big on probiotics, gum, candies, razors, oh oh oh and i had a 25 % off so i used some of my bucks toward netipots and vapotizors…all told i am now sitting on 325 eb…will see if i can score some pay pal deals…one for mom, me and husband…not bad for a couple hrs work…then we went to wag and collected enough of wag bucks to purchase 50 dollars worth of hubs needs for 5 dollars…worn out from unloading…lol

  27. Tina

By the way, Collin, thank you for posting the pictures on the good deals. It makes it so much easier to find what I’m looking for. I really appreciate it.

  28. tracy

    visine cvs coups gone…

  29. Sarah

I went yesterday to purchase 2 bags of Hershey Kisses since it was a B1G1 free and I had a CVS coupon and a manufacturer coupon and when they tried to use it, it wouldn’t expect my 2nd coupon. The Manager said the CVS coupon is a manufacturer coupon and they can’t be used together. Anyone find this weird? Plus, for the deal last week with the Nature Made vitamelts, she said it wouldn’t accept my coupon because I was getting ECBs back. I don’t think I will be going back to this CVS for my big deals.

    • irene

I have come to the same conclusion about my closest CVS. Every transaction was a hassle for one reason or another — even the small easy ones. Now I drive right past it to another one. When Qs beep, they read it and just push it through without excuses. I leave the store much happier!

  30. Shanna

I have a quick questionn do I have to do each item with ecb separately or will it print out several ecb recipets ? Like could I purchase all the candy a products in 1 transaction and receive the full ecb amount ?

    • cathycampo

Yes, you can purchase all of the candy products in 1 transacaction and it will print several ECBs.

  31. jan

Where is the deal in the CVS ad for the Standing Armoire Jewelry Box 19.99 I need to buy two

  32. Susan

The double packs of Neiva lip products are on sale for 2/$5 as well. So if you pair that with the $3/2 MQ you get each one for 50 cents!

  33. Lynne

When I went to use the $2.50 CVS coupon for the Hershey’s Kisses and stacked with the $1.10 Manufacturer Coupon, the computer would not accept it. The Manager forced it through for me but informed me that CVS has changed their coupon policy and would no longer be accepting a CVS coupon with a Manufacturer coupon when you’ve printed them at home. This doesn’t apply to the kiosk printed coupons. This hasn’t happened to me before. Anyone else have an issue or heard of a new coupon policy?

    • Samantha

I think the problem is that they’re both manu coupons? I thought I saw that on the on from cvs.com, but my cashier forced them through so I’m not sure.

      • mel

I was able to use both the $2.50/2 CVS printable with the $1.10/2 manuf printable. Neither coupon beeped or gave an error message. I bought 2 bags yesterday, and 4 bags today (the MCM printed off $2 off any 2 Hershey bagged candy purchase when I scanned my card yesterday) All coupons today scanned just fine.

    • Kaylyn

Yes the new coupon policy stinks. Us workers are not happy about it. We are telling all of our couponers. What we have found out on some coupons Scan the store coupon first, have the cashier hit the total button the CVS coupon will then be taken of the bill and then scan the mfg coupon. It seams to be working. but once headquarters lean about the flaw they will fix the problem. The new policy is not up online because it really hasn’t changed it was a flaw in the programming of the coupons and they are finnally figuring it out.

      • Jeff Walker

Nothing to get mad about! Because I will just not buy that product if I can’t use a Printable CVS w/ a MF printable..

  34. humera

i wish i had 1.50$ Nescafe Taster’s Choice Coffee coupon anyone has this coupon pls mail me at iramlubbu@gmail.com

  35. Kaylyn

Paper towel deal stinks. Wait tim 11-28/11-30. Buy 1 Just the basics paper towel and get 2 free. $1.29 is the cost of 1 paper towel roll. M&M are B1G1F during this same time period. Watch out CVS pantiliners are ringing up the normal price (as of Sunday night) Thanksgiving day only coupon center will be printing of a FREE coupon for CVS batteries. Black Friday deals are not very good this year. Believe me I tore al of the signs and there is only a handful of signs for us to put up. Infact not even a handful. Larger stores may have more due to the fact they carry more items on a daily basis than the larger stores. Rural areas are small stores.

  36. jiya

I used the paper towel buy 1 get 1 free coupon it’s not scanned or applied…..I didn’t checked the receipt there. Now how can I tell them that I gave them a coupon for this purchase?

  37. edy

I see a 30% pass on cvs ad for thursday 28-saturday 30. Will use this pass to get gift sets along with cpns even if we don’t get bucks and some bogo cpns revlon be giving bucks and believe its reg price.

  38. Lil

question – for the PGE rebate – if i purchase using the ECB – (I have $50 worth of them) am I still eligible for rebate? I know it is after coupons and discounts – but is using ecbs like using cash?
Thanks for all the great info.!

    • mel

P&G said your OOP is after all coupons & store rewards. I screwed up last wk b/c I bought $20 worth of Covergirl, but after all my coupons & bucks, my OOP was $5 and change! I wanted to use a $10 GC instead of my EBs, so now I’m $15 short!

  39. Ocupones

Any one please!Need help with the P&G rebate! Do you enter sale price or original price? Thank you!!

    • cathycampo

enter price that appears on your receipt, sale price. your receipt needs to match up.

  40. Ocupones

    Thank you Kathy!

  41. Annie

Do you guys know if the candy deal for the Hersheys Kisses B1G1 Free is good until wednesday or sat?

  42. shaun

Not sure if you noticed, there is a mail in rebate attached to the box of CVS glucose truresut monitoring system. Its a 13$ money maker. Is it the same everywhere ?
    Is there any catch ?

    • mel

catch is they won’t refund if you use any coupons/ecbs, so you need to pay the $12.99 OOP (or use a GC), so its not a MM, just free.

      • Elizabeth Winchester

Ah nuts. I didn’t know the restrictions until I got home and opened the box. How are you suppose to know not to use ECB’s. Thanks for that information. That stinks.

  43. Desiree

Can someone tell me what NR stands for?

  44. Desiree

    I meant RP ??
