   FYI Khols shoppers, don’t forget you CAN checkout at customer service. I don’t think everyone knows this, so the lines tend to be shorter 🙂 Great video, Collin! Thanks!

   Victoria Secret just sent me $10 off any purchase for my birthday woo! I will be sending Colin a video later on how to save at Justice. This is one of my daughters fav places but it always hurts my bank account. I am going to start my shopping Thanksgiving evening I believe!

   The thing I have learned during black friday sales after many years of fighting the crowds and wasting my own time is buy hot gifts on line. Going to the stores looking for the hot toy etc never works. I still go to get amazing deals on clothing etc, but don’t bother looking for the front page items anymore. They are almost always gone.

   You also want to make sure to look for items near the checkout, some people change their minds half way through the line and stuff gets left at the checkout

    Be kind to your sales associates, cashiers and managers. They have been working extremely long hours, working endless pallets of freight, setting ads and training new holiday staff.

    Remember to clean up after yourself if you are trying on shoes, coats, apparel put the product back the way you found it. I can tell you from experience that women are the biggest slobs!

    Bring a treat for your cashier, I once made baggies of candy for all the stores I planned on hitting. (They loved it!) A simple candy cane will make someone’s day too.

    Make small talk with others while waiting in line. Find the positive, talk about the weather, amazing deals, favorite Christmas songs or how much shopping they have completed. Don’t stand around complaining about how long the lines are!

    Finally remember that the associates that are helping you in the stores are real people and have given up their family time to be there for you!

    Super cute video, as usual. I have 2 things to say:
    1. Have you guys watched the last episode of The Middle? Frankie goes shopping before Thanksgiving and she acts like a crazy woman? It is hilarious!

    2. My Black Friday story 2 years ago. My husband and I were pretty broke. We were in town for Thanksgiving and our car brokw down and we couldn’t afford to fix it. We decided to go out and it was raining, so we went to Walmart and bought all their $1 rain ponchos (they only had 16) and tried to sell them in front of Target. Most people had umbrellas or didn’t seem to care about the rain. We sold about 5. We were soooo disappointed. Not good business people. Can you tell? 🙂 We were able to return them fortunately. So don’t do it. Try hot cocoa instead. Or hot tea. They say it will be freezing in many states, so something hot would be great if you want to make some money on Black Friday 🙂
