  I remember checking these out of the library in Jr High, haven’t picked one up in awhile but I went ahead and got it for my 13 yr old daughter. I’ll flip through it when they come just to check. There are def more conservative moms than me out there though so maybe someone else should weigh in too!

  I read it when I was 13, for the fashion. I am not sure how much it has changed over time. Take a look at the seventeen website to get an idea of the magazine. 🙂

  I say no. I read through one a couple years ago and was astonished to see so many articles and pictures dealing with sex or sexual things.

  I got it for my stepdaughter last year. She liked that one direction guys were on the cover. I think it should be ok

  It’s a different world than when we were all 13, if we have 13 year olds surely we know that! We get it and has marginal things, sure, but they are hearing this all on TV, at school, internet, etc. It’s very informative for the teen generation. Get it! See what you think! I still look through it at times. It’s still mostly fashion and makeup.
