Make sure to check where your closest theater is. Only one in SC. Too far from me 🙁 Wonder how many points the home depot or shutterfly offers will be?

    • R

I’m about the same way, none anywhere nearby in N.C. and unfortunately won a pair in the Minutes of Winning contest. Mine are Silver tickets, plus two large drinks, a $ 30 value. Perhaps someone would want to purchase them from me, or do some bartering. Someone can respond if seriously interested.

      • Jessica

I still have the VS Secret Rewards cards and the shutterfly photo book if you’re interested in either.

        • Jessica

          And I just found a $10 Build-A-Bear giftcard also.

    • Kayden

Do you guys follow another coupon website for the east coast since Hip2Save focuses a lot on west coast businesses that we don’t always have on the east coast? I was just wondering so that I don’t miss great deals for east coast stores. I love Hip2Save but I have yet to find another website that would be more local to use in addition to Hip2Save.

  2. Sarah M

Oh well, I don’t have that much points!

  3. Karen C

I got this deal right at noon and received an email right away which I’ll print and take to the theater to redeem. Here is info about the silver ticket exclusion from the website:

Special Engagements excluded. Special Engagement restriction is necessary to comply with the contractual obligations of motion picture distributors on certain films. It is typically AMC’s policy to remove the restrictions after the second weekend of the film’s release.

    • Mourrene

So, does that mean they don’t send you the actual tickets to present to the movie theatre? Is it a printout instead?

      • Stephanie

Correct, it is a printout with two barcodes- 1 valid for two tickets, 1 valid for two large drinks.

        • Mourrene

Thanks for letting me know. Too bad because I’m out of silver tickets. I’m already keeping up with too many printed egifts. I will have to pass.

      • spongemonkey

You can also bring your smartphone to the box office to redeem. Note that tix have no expiration date but 2 lg sodas expire 5/31/2015 – still plenty of time.

  4. brandice

Anyone know what the other offers will be and for how many points

    • mel

      Last year it was
$25 Home Depot GC 600 points (limit 1)
$50 Southwest Airlines GC 1,200 points (limit 1)
$50 Bass Pro Shops GC 1,200 points (limit 1)
      $20 Shutterfly eGC 200 points (limit 1)
FREE 12-pack Coke coupon only 30 points (limit 4)

      • Amanda M

yay at least I have enough for a coke 12 pack! Last year when this promo was going on I told myself I would save and get all the gift cards next year well I saved all year and all I got was 106 points 🙁 I have no idea how people get so many points!

        • Avi

I workin a food court in d airport dat sells coca cola bottles n a lot of people buy bottle drinks so when i clean d dining room i just grab a few caps here n der n mycoworkers get em for me too … I get over 200 caps a week n funny thing is i never drink soda… Well dats how i get em lol

  5. Jessica

Got it! I wish they didn’t have the weekly cap on entering more codes. 🙁

  6. brandice

Also what are “silver”tickets…..what’s so special about them

    • Stephanie

Silver tickets cannot be used on imax, 3d, or within the first 10 days of a movie being in theater. You can upgrade to gold (use within first 10 days) for about $2 a ticket, and then other upcharges are as they regularly would be on a ticket I believe.

      • Stephanie

That’s not cool.. within the first 10 days? It’s not like I’d want to go on opening night, but that’s a long time to wait. I wouldn’t have known this so thank you.

    • Mourrene

Silver tickets can be used for movies that have been in the theatre for a couple of weeks. Gold tickets are used for new releases. The tickets used to be a much better value but they’ve gone up along with the cost of actual movie tickets. Plus, they can be used for evening performances which represents a savings.

  7. Shanshan

I wish there’s another free case of coke with 30 point deal. Deal like the 12 Day of X’mas deal is just not that great by comparison… Hundreds of codes from caps you have to enter just to get a low denomination gift card. 🙁

    • mel

There is, its always the last day of the promo.

  8. Valerie S

Does anyone have any idea what the Southwest gift card will be & how many Coke points it will be?

  9. Lynn

I just got this and realized that I don’t have a theater. 🙁 Let me know if you anything to trade.

    • Jessica

What are you looking for? I have VS Secret Rewards, a Shutterfly: Custom 20-Page Photo Book, and I think I have a DMR code for Little Mermaid.

    • Grace

I have shutterfly free wall calendar(which I won from merry minutes and was very annoyed since I wanted other prizes lol), 2 shutterfly $20+free shipping code.

      • Lynn

Do you still have the 2 Shutterfly codes?

    • K

I have a $5 printable coupon I can email you to Kohls. I know it isn’t comparable but I am trying to think of what I have to trade. I would love to give this to my husband but don’t have enough points. I will keep thinking but if you want the Kohls coupon email me at kmecham2 at hotmail.com

      • K

Sorry I forgot to mention it is off a purchase- so no minimum.

  10. Vee

How do you manage to collect so many points at once? Over time or how?

    • T Evans

It has taken me some time. However I work for a company that buys the bottles of coke products so now I just leave a cup by the trash & ask that ppl drop in their caps before they recycle the bottles. Even the cleaning staff checks the bottles before they recycle. I also donate most of them to my kiddos school too!

      • Vee

Oh I’m sorry I didn’t direct the question correctly. I meant how do you accumulate so many points when they have a limit and expiration to them.

    • Stephanie

I save throughout the year, and collect the caps from my friends too. I don’t really redeem for much throughout the year (maybe a music download once in a while), so this is the only time of year when I redeem anything.

      • mel

I save up all year. Besides the cokes we drink at home, I get my brothers flaps & caps, his in-laws save for me and my husband gets caps at his job. Then I wait until they do double bonus days to enter codes. I rarely cash out during the year for stuff, unless its a reallly good deal, otherwise I wait until the 12 days.

    • Dannee

You have to ask people (neighbors, co-workers, friends)
to save their points for you. Also, at work, I check the recycle bin for caps and flaps. Also the guy who fills up the vending machine leaves the flaps behind. You have to be creative. Once you start looking around you will notice caps and flaps everywhere. People don’t want to be bothered with the program and will gladly give you points.

    • EYEZ

I work in an office building and I asked the pop machine guy if he would leave the box codes for me. He comes once a week and leaves codes from 24 packs and twelve packs. Yipee

  11. T Evans

Thxs finally got in on oneof these deals! Just hit 2470 pts today, so now I still have 2k left. Whoo hooo!

  12. Stephanie W.

Does anyone have a code I could use? I’m iced in in Texas and left all my codes in my classroom (school was cancelled yesterday). I would really appreciate it. Saruess@gmail.com

    • Patti

Do you still need a code? I can send you one. Patti

      • Stephanie W.

Yes, thank you Patti, that is so kind.

        • Patti

I just sent you one, Stephanie! Have a great day!

  13. brandice

I want to get this but I am single and if…..do u have to use both offers at the same time

    • Stephanie

Because it is a piece of paper with bar-codes valid for 2 tickets and 2 drinks, I am guessing if it is scanned, it will be void. I doubt you can scan it twice and have it still be valid. However, you might be able to call your local AMC and speak to a manager, or their national customer service, and ask for more details.

      • brandice

        Thanks…..

      • brandice

Thought it was a voucher of 2 each…that way I could have 2 movie outings and just buy popcorn

      • mel

for this offer, I think you do have to use both at once. You could take a friend out, or family member. Or, like Stephanie suggested, drop by the box office and ask if they’ll honor 1 ticket and maybe get a rainck for the other ticket. Or, there is a single AMC ticket & drink offer for 485 pts. I’ve gotten them on sale for 300 pts before and it came out cheaper to request 2 at the sale price then get the double package!

      • spongemonkey

Or try this for example: Get ticket for 5:00pm showtime (one movie) & ticket at 9:00pm (different movie with advanced ticket sale) the same day. This should work because you will purchase both tickets during same transaction. There is no rule that both tix must be used for same movie & same showtime. Naturally, you will have to get the 2 drinks at the same time also (either during 1st OR 2nd screening). Maybe offer someone the drink (beforehand) if they’ll buy you a small popcorn or candy?

  14. Brenda

Anyone not using their Sephora $15 off $50 mailer/email? I would like to use it. Transcendencebq@gmail.com

  15. LisaR
