Zapiddy iPhone App: Make Money While You Shop (Earn Extra Money for Holiday Shopping)

Zapiddy is a free iPhone app that pays users to answer questions. After downloading and registering the app, Zapiddy users (called Zappers) may accept Jobs — brief, easy surveys. Just click on the FIND JOBS tab to find jobs available in your local area.
Wondering what kind of “work” Zapiddy requires?! Typical Zapiddy jobs take place in stores–like Target or Walmart or your local supermarket. For about 3 minutes of actual work (once you’re in the store), Zapiddy normally pays $4. For more involved or higher priority jobs, Zapiddy pays as much as $12 – this is a great way to earn a little extra money for holiday shopping.
For example, Zappers earned money for snapping a couple pictures at Safeway, Fred Meyer, and Target this past weekend. Sometimes Zapiddy will alert users to nearby jobs (using push notifications and/or email), but users who check Zapiddy themselves typically get first and best pick of the available work.

I’ve had this app for a few months. And I’ve only seen one job on there. I’m not to far from large cities too. I might just not be checking enough or early enough. If you get the jobs then it seems like a good deal. But I’ve yet to earn anything yet.
Ok after posting I’ve seen two different jobs and did one ! Have $3 pending now.
Has anyone had any luck with this app? I live in central Phoenix, so you would think that there would be jobs, but I’ve never seen anything posted!
I live in central phoenix and I see jobs posted! I just started using the app a few months ago and ive made about 100$..it’s quick and easy! Make sure you are hitting the refresh button the “find jobs” page. Most of them are at Target on 19th ave and Bethany Home or at Safeways or Ive seen a few at Frys/Bashes. You can do one per location but I never get to that many. ive completed various jobs from 4$ to 10$ and they easy. Its usually taking pics of products or commenting on sample stations
Jobs disappear quickly
I haven’t had any luck with the app, I ended up deleting it. I am sure if you are in a big city it works great .
I Love this app! Make sure you check often. I see most jobs on the weekends here in AZ. The jobs are usually for a certain period of time..i.e. between 11am-4pm at Target. The jobs usually stay on (for me) for hours after the specified time..Their systems were down a few weeks ago so maybe try again!
I have made a couple of hundred since April. Jobs are few and far between at times. But if you can get one they are very simple to do. However jobs are first come first serve who finishes them. So sometimes you can see a job, go to do it and it will already be done by someone else. And it is always nice to have a little extra cash in PayPal. That is how you get paid.
When I signed up last night, the only option was to pick a charity and have the money donated. Am I missing something?
I have had this app for a month or so. I’ve done a few jobs. They did recently change the app. A couple of times ice opened the app and it showed no jobs. But hit the refresh button and had jobs appear. There was one on Thanksgiving for a dollar. Just to simply snap a pic of your dinner plate with your food on it and then answer what you’re thankful for.
The app change phased out the cash out option. Now it directly transfers money to your paypal account. I live in Cape Girardeau and I’m constantly checking. I use several of these apps and can leave at a moments notice. So far, this app has been my lowest money maker. I am not sure but I believe it’s because they are new to this field. I would imagine that they will become very popular once they build their clients and agents. Also with this latest update, they added the ability to take jobs and put them in your “jobs” folder. I never checked to see if you were actually reserving the job and if so, for how long.
All of you in the larger populated area’s, I would suggest expanding your job radius. I’ve seen jobs pop up that way as well. Jobs that should have popped up under my original settings. All in all though, since the beginning of October, I have only done 4 jobs and I know of only 1 that I’ve missed. I wouldn’t worry too much about this app at this time though. You have a lifetime payout of only $570. I’ve made more money with other apps in a fraction of the time I’ve spent with this app.
I’m not saying this app won’t be great. I’m simply stating that I believe this app is still building and is currently still on the ground floor. If they are a well established company and this is the best they have to offer, I don’t think they’ll survive. They need more jobs, in more areas and they need to offer the 1099 option to drop the lifetime payout.
Jenn, I would love to know what similar apps/companies you use that are more established and have more to offer! I’m very interested in picking up some extra money this way and would love some direction on places to look!

I love this app, since Oct I have made $60! Best thing is that it goes straight to paypal! I have had a few issues but have worked them out with customer service!
What are other apps are there to earn money?
So I just came out of walmart and was letting my car warm up for a minute. I checked hip2save to see what was new and saw the post about this app so I decided to download it. A job popped up for the lowes directly across the street! Lol. So I went! over and did the job! It took me 5 minutes and I made $4
I just did a Shopalong study about Black Friday. I had to tell where I planned to shop and my budget, download receipts and answer a few surveys….$40! (paypal or amazon)
I have made $35.00 just in November with this app. Jobs do disappear pretty quick and it is best to check multiple times a day for jobs. Jobs are pretty quick and simple. Payments can take up to 5 days or longer at times but it does go directly into your PayPal account which is nice. I can either leave it there or transfer it to my bank. Nice app to make a few dollars quick and easy.
my zapiddy wouldnt post jobs i went weeks with nothing or i couldnt do them, i did one this past saturday and 2 today, im glad they are popping up more!!! i saw the post for walmart and lowes/home depot at about 145p and is now 340p i cant believe they are still available!
I downloaded it and immediately had an $8 offer for Targets holiday sampling event today! Had to run errands anyway so I made $8 in the process. Then the Home Depot offer popped up and it was just down the street from Target so I ran over and made another $4 for about 5 minutes of effort! I’m excited to see just how often jobs will be available!
