I agree. I think I would feel slighted if someone won in the same drawing as me and they got $150 and I got $50. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful. I know we aren’t entitled to anything, but it would be more fair for everyone to win the same amount therefore being more winners. It is nice to see the big amounts and although I would like to see my name next to a large amount, I would feel better if everyone got the same. Not complaining at all, I am just so thankful for Collin even having the heart to do something this amazing for her readers.
I like the idea of it growing each time we still have 2 more days of winners so my fingers are crossed for all of us lol but I would think she wirtes down the ammounts and picks them in order from higest to lowest so 1st name drawn is the big winner seems fair to me .
She is picking all new winners each time – if someone from the last drawing didn’t respond – she is adding that money to the next drawing – for example : if Mary won $50 and didn’t respond – on the next drawing ……..the person drawn is eligible to win $100
You are missing what the poster is saying. Instead of 4 people getting to split the extra money, she is saying have 7 people win $50.00. Therefore, more people have a chance to win an amount, not just always 4. I’m hoping I am making sense.

It could be they are at work or just really busy with normal household stuff.
It’s also possible they are part of a large group of people who spend hours entering on-line contests. They enter HUNDREDS a day, so they often don’t read the directions.
That’s why I like a contest like this because it rewards actual blog readers.
I think because a lot of entries come from non Hip2save readers. When you see a contest for a free $50 gift card, anyone and everyone will sign up! Lol. But those same people (because they don’t normally check this blog) will not remember to come back.

Lol, I know, right? I keep thinking I should be rooting for less people to claim so the pot gets bigger, logically that should be my approach, but then I see the names of the people that have won something, and think how exciting it would be if they see that they won (in time), and how disappointing if they don’t, so I really want them to see their names and claim the gc’s!!!
