  My dog lays on one in his cage. I cover it with a pillow case to keep it cleaner. I do wash mine in the machine, always comes out clean and in good shape. I just line dry it, never have put it in the dryer. I had bought one for when I do dishes, a couple of years ago. My dog immediately took ownership of this mat. Love them!
