They never seem to accept my receipts! I try and try! I have all the qualified items too!
are you sending the entire receipt? sometimes my grocery receipts are long, so I have to ‘add section’. I also circle the items and purchase date, so it’s easier for them to identify. Try to take the picture in good light and as close as you can get to fill in the shaded outline box. Hold your phone steady as you snap the picture so its not blury. Another thing, make sure your receipt isn’t all crinkled. I have a habit of stuffing my receipt in my wallet. When I take it out, its wrinkled. I smooth it out and use tape to keep it from kinking up. If all else fails, email them. They are great at resolving issues.
what I mean with the tape is I flatten the receipt as best as I can, then use a piece of tape at the top & bottom of the receipt to attach to my table.

I just had a problem with 1 of my receipts yesterday for the milk offer. On the same receipt I had the waffles which they accepted but they said they could not read my receipt for the milk offer. I had a long receipt and I have to try and remember to keep my Ibotta items on smaller receipts.

I have done all they suggest. I try to re-submit the receipt in a well lighted area and try to keep it flat. I try to hold still and also add sections of the receipt because it is long.
Thanks for all your suggestions. ALSO– I can’t find some of the local stores on my receipt and I have my settings set to my local zip code. For example- I have several stores but NOT CVS a store I shop often. It is a local store like all the others. ?????

I scan my Ibotta items first so they’re grouped together at the top of the receipt. You could also try placing your receipt on a dark non-reflective background.
I you’re having trouble finding stores, choose “All” rather than “Earnings” or “Nearby.” This will show you a list of participating retailers in alphabetical order.
Pamela I just do a separate receipt specifically for Ibotta items. Like if buy something at the store I will put the stuff I am submitting specifically to Ibotta on a completely different transaction. Then the receipt is pretty small.

Anyone know if this works for almond milk ice cream or soy ice cream? I don’t eat dairy, but curious if it would work for substitutes.
The details info. says “does NOT include: Any dairy substitute ice cream varieties…”
Just tried this on Tillamook Ice Cream that I bought today and it says the product is not valid. 🙁 Oh well….at least I have the ice cream to sooth my sorrow! 🙂

Oh that is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO terrific! I have ice cream and milk on tonight’s receipt! And, I ALMOST picked up a bag of cat litter, so I’ll have to do that tomorrow to get the New Year’s bonus, the ice cream $1.50, and the make a fresh start $2 as well as the .50 milk, and $1 cat litter.
