the fine print says: cannot be combined with manufacturer paper coupons !

    • Happymama

They mean you can’t use both on the same item. I always use a combo of digital and paper coupons, just on different items.

  2. Erin

My King Soopers won’t allow paper coupons to be used with digital..:(

  3. Karen

She is buying 5 in the scenario. 2 go with digital coupon and 3 go with paper coupons. Good deal!

  4. Alex

You’re not using paper coupons with digital coupons. You’re buying 5 total, and using a BOGO (counts for two Scope), a $4.50/2 digital (counts for two Scope) and a $1/1 (counts for the last Scope)

    • Eileen

Thanks for clearing that up Alex I was a bit confused by all the other comments.

has anyone tried this at smiths??

kroger i shop at will not let you use a b1g1 coupon and use a coupon on the one you get free

    • DianeNC

You wouldn’t be using a coupon on the one you’re getting for free with you BOGO coupon. If I understand it correctly, out of the five Scopes, the first two you would be using the Kroger $4.50/2 digital coupon, the third and fourth ones would be what the BOGO coupon is for, and the $1.00 manufacturer coupon would be used on the fifth one.

And some stores have the Scopes priced cheaper after the buy 5 deal at only $1.99 each. I have not checked my store yet, but these may end up free if they are less than $2.99 after buying 5. Or, you can get 4 Scopes and 1 other item included in the buy 5 deal (like a Cover Girl item or a box of included cereal?)

    • Leslie

She includes the $5 off 5 at the $9.95 total…That would be $1.99 each…You can only use the ecoupon of $4.50 off 2 once, but yes, those 2 would be free.

I purchased the scope and 3 covergirl eye enhancers and used 3 coupons on the makeup . My total was .22 cents for all 5 items.

  9. Mark

Try the deal today and got five scope for 2$

  10. Leslie

$2.44 total for me…the buy one get one free should only be $1.99 off, not $2.99 off if you’re honest with the cashier.

    • Jennifer

I got all 5 for the 1.46 and was honest. When the cashier got to the bogo q she asked how much the scope was. I said 2.99 before the mega event price and 1.99 after. I truly didn’t know which price they took it off of and thought I’d be as forthcoming as possibly. A hiss of air came out of her and she ran the register tape up and then hissed again like the sound from the snake pit in that Indiana Jones movie and took off 2.99. I didn’t feel bad that she took the 2.99 off after all the vehemence she handled my q’s with. And can I just say, I really hate Kroger’s coupon policy. They won’t take a coupon if the price of the q exceeds the price of the item. Why can’t they just take it up to the item price like most everyone else? They’ll make money when they submit it for redemption!

I have never had a cashier ask me what to take off for a buy one get one free item. I figure they know their policy better than I do so I let them do whatever they were told to do. I very rarely have a problem with Kroger. I totally love that store. If the catalina doesn’t print I just go to customer service and give them the print out explaining the catalina and they give me the cash that I was supposed to get. Great customer service at my store.

I have a question in general about the mega even sale at krogers. I want to get the febreze 5 mega event in which case they maybe 2.99 each and then I get 5.00 off instantly. Now, I guess I’m a little confused about manufacture coupons. If I have 5 items, can I use 5 manufacture coupons for each item. Or can I only use one manufacture coupon for all of them.
