Do you know if it has to be an Avery binder that you are recycling?

    • nicole

I’ve tried this before I just recycled a generic binder from walgreens.

      • Sheila

Thanks. May have to try this-I have a Dollar General binder that has totally fallen apart.

  2. Diane

I don’t think I actually have any binders that are in bad shape to recycle. I’ll have to search.

  3. Sarah

Yay! Just in time for the Spring Semester! Thank you so much : )

  4. Kelly

Aww man! I just bought one last night with the trade in. Wish I had known! Any brand binder will work. I’ve done the trade in several times in the past when it was offered.

  5. Christine

Does anyone know if these are the PVC-free binders?

    • mom of 3 reds

      Yes. We bought one today.

  6. I Love Shoes

Wow. Thanks for posting. I was saving my binders for Staples recycling. This offer is much better than the summer recycling offer. I also have five $10 bonus egift cards from the egift card promotion ($10 bonus for every $50)in December. This will make the binders free plus an easy rebate. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Don’t forget the box tops!!!

    • amy

      Huh?

    • jata

Yes, I purposely picked the binder with 2 box tops!

  8. Laura

The $2 recycle deal works on all binders. For us, the 1 1/2 binders are too big. So wended up getting the cheap 1inch binder for .99 – after the $2 recycle deal.

ALSO – this deal is good all year long! They have a coupon booklet behind the counter with the code

Does anyone have a $30 off $60 that they’re not going to use and are willing to share? My external hard drive died this morning. Thank you!

    • crankypuppy

Please disregard. A kind HipSaver has helped me out. Thank you!

Does anyone have a $30 off $60 code for Staples that you’re not going to use? My hard drive died this morning. ๐Ÿ™ Thanks in advance!

There was a 25% off coupon on the front of my Staples ad. I was able to use it along with my recycled binders. paid $20.87 for 4 binders BUT I get back $25.96 in rebates. MONEY MAKER ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Karen

Shannon…..are you sure? Seems like I did this once before and I got back what I paid OOP. Still free, but not a money maker.

      • Tarri

It depends on how the rebate is worded, if it says up to 6.49 then she will only get what she paid for. If it says 6.49 rebate, she will get 6.49. I learned that the hard way.

        • Karen

          Tarri Thanks! very helpful ๐Ÿ™‚

I am new to staples rewards. So how do you do the rebate is it after the purchase? And is it on the staples website or is it on Avery’s website? Thanks in advance

  13. Kristen

My staples would only let me do one of the 2 deals. I took the rebate deal, but the sales lady said I couldn’t turn in my old binder with that deal. I am pretty sure she didn’t know what she was doing….

  14. shopngeek

Heads up! You can buy the binders at staples.com without going to store and recycle old binder. For some it’s much easier.. It’s Free after $8.49 easy rebate. Limit 2 per SKU so you can buy multiple binders with different colors and get free shipping. Just search “Avery Heavy Binder” and you will find them. Enjoy!

    • VS

After my order confirmation I received only one rebate offer number, but I purchased more than one binder. Is that right or did I miss something.

    • Karen

      Yay! Thanks!

    • Viji

Is this offer different from the store offer of free after rebate + recycle? Can I get do both the online and in store offer and get rebates for both?

      • Karen

I have received my order. No rebate offer number at time of order or with packing slip. Looked up rebate. Hope this works ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™

        • Karen

Nope….didn’t work. Will be returning these. A waste of time. Said no rebate available on these….

  15. Claudia

    Is this still happening??

  16. Jill

I think that this deal was incorrect! My rebate info was denied and it won’t work. Will have to return them.
