They were not marked. I just scanned them and they came up $3.50! Thought you might want to share with others!

Great deals in Raleigh, NC! Oreos .89, tree topper $1.50, peppermint m and m’s .89, big snack mix jars $1.49 and more. No lights, though.

  2. Katherine

Got to Target at 8am this morning to find 90%/70% and ended up going back two more times in search for Christmas treasures! Found Jergens lotion, Oreos, Girls Hipsters, Philips LED Lights 60ct, Icicle lights, Philips 9ft Lighted Garland, Faith Hill/Tim McGraw cologne, tons of M&M’s plus so much more. Had so much fun!

  3. Christy

In San Diego, the two targets I went to had decor 90% off, food 70% off and everything else 15% to 30%. I got a lot of cute gift bags for .10-.50 each however I noticed an Asian family stocking up 10 carts full of holiday items, clearing shelves. When I went back to the gift bag aisle which was once full of bags, only ripped up or super wrinkled bags were left. They also took all of the gift boxes too and had 3-4 target employees helping them. Apparently this happened at both targets. :/

    • Suzanne

There is NO need to mention the race of the family that did this stocking up. I think the comment was in poor taste.

      • Sam

        Agreed

        • Teri

          Agree as well

      • S.W.

Give me a break. I don’t believe “Christy” meant to be mean or nasty about the race of the family. She would have said something stronger if that was her reason for including it.

        • tilla ham

if she didn’t mean anything by it, she would have said “a family” no need to say Asian, white, black…and who cares if they were buying everything, the stores LOVE and I mean LOVE those people because it is in their best business interest to get it gone and get the shelves reset

    • Asian Person

      You snooze you lose.

      • Christen

        ^ ^ ^ LMAOOOOO

    • Another Asian

Too many Asian stereotypes on this anyway! I don’t take everything and I do my couponing so we can support an adopt-a-family and foster child birthday program. I coupon because it’s fun and smart, not because I’m Asian!

    • Cece

I’m an Asian couponer & I’ve seen some craziness too Christy. I’ve been in situations where I did only want a few of an item, but it was nabbed up by others who had carts full of the items (they weren’t always Asians either). I just tell myself, you win some & you lose some. Again, I’m so sorry to hear that you weren’t able to just get a few of the items you wanted.

      • Marie S.

I love your response. 🙂 So kind, and very true!

  4. JaCoby Marston

The holiday candy is 70% off at Layton, Utah Target. They still have tons of M&Ms, I got 12 bags, plus Layton Target allows for overage so you can some other items for cheap. For $0.56, I got 12 bags of M&Ms, 4 Gingerbread Cookie Mixes, and 2 Boxes of the Nature Valley Variety Packs.

    • J

Not for me they called security gaurd last time a coupon gave me overage and othrr issues at there they were rude

  5. Theresa

90% off at Long Island stores. Scored a bunch of stickers and bag filler shreds for 10 cents. And lots of other stickers for 30 cents. 9 ft extension cord 59 cents. 70% off m&ms and Hershey’s, Milano cookies, and peppermint patties

  6. Sandy

FYI if your Target has a Starbucks in it the Christmas Coffee was 90% off. They did not have any Via at my Target but if they had it would have rung up at $1.19 and there is a MQ out there for $1.00 off one Via so only .19 after the coupon. I did get three pack coffee’s for .89 cents and Tazo tea for .89. Good enough for me!

    • Caity Tarbert

For some reason none of the Starbucks Christmas stuff at my Target is discounted at all 🙁

  7. Tarri

Found Lip Smacker Sets- Nail polish/lip balm for .49; Travel Size Body Wash/Lotion by Body Cology for .29; Kids cup .39; kids plate .29; Kids 2pk socks.39; Nivea single lip balm .26; M&M’s .85 after cartwheel(used 1.50 TQ and 2.00 MQ)got them free. • Tarri

I also used a $1/2 Nabisco MQ for the Wheat Thins.

  8. Mb9826

Schaumburg il targets are 90% off and 70% food … However never checked clothes or book section. If it wasn’t bad out id go back but not in this weather.

  9. starkissed

My target was picked over, but I was happy to score 3 better than free bags of m&m’s and 5 gift bags for a total of $.16. 😄

  10. Renee

Went today to find the 10 packs of Milanos I hid! Got them for .30 cents each!

    • Leslie Gallagher

Hiding items is wrong. It is like stealing. Just my opinion. You can scout them out, but when you put them in an area with the intention of coming back to buy them at a higher-percentage clearance price, that is, in my opinion, wrong. It is stealing from the store–you are taking it out of the stream of commerce from customers who may have been willing to pay the higher price that you weren’t willing to pay. You are willing to compromise your integrity for 10 packs of Milanos??? And while I am at it, taking coupons off of items you do not purchase is also wrong. I am always appalled when I read people’s posts about taking 10 coupons off an item they didn’t purchase—this is what gives couponers/bargain hunters a bad name. Be fair, and be honest.

      • LGIAB

Who said anything about using coupons on items that were not purchased? So she hid something-big whoop. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

        • Leslie Gallagher

I brought up the issue of coupons as an aside–read more carefully!! And why would I have sour grapes? I am trying to keep couponers/bargain hunters honest so that they don’t give us all a bad name. You should be thankful, not critical. I can only assume that you are a someone who hides items–this sounds like a guilty conscience to me!!

    • Lauren

      Did you have a coupon?

  11. Christen

Last night there was TONS of Christmas stuff. Today when 90% off started…it was hit hard. The only wrapping paper that was left was Justin Beiber themed…about 20 rolls, lol. There was a great selection of candy. I bought a bunch of boxes of candy that is movie theater size boxes. Nerds, m&ms, skittles, junior mints 30 cents a box! I will be sneaking that into the movies!

    • Des

Lol @ the wrapping paper, it was the same at my store with Justin Bieber being the only wrapping paper, stocking, and ornaments left.

    • amy

I was laughing about the Justin bieber wrapping paper. I was thinking how many years are they going to put this stuff out?! Hahaha

    • Caity Tarbert

Justin Bieber retired, right? Maybe the wrapping paper will be a collector’s item!! 😉

    • JA

I bought the Beiber paper to wrap all of my brother in laws’ gag gifts with. I got the orange because it was uglier, but I may have to pick up a blue one too!

  12. Nicole

I went to four stores in my area & scored a variety of items. Ornaments, holiday wreatgm garland, gift bags, stocking holders, plush animals, gift tags, clothing and wrapping paper. I think my most expensive item was $3.00!

  13. Tia

In Dallas TX, I found the Hallmark dogs Jingle and Bell for $3.50! It was located in the book section and was marked with regular price!

  14. Lynn l

This is unrelated to this post, but I wondered if anyone who ordered from Body Central has received their orders, especially the people who ordered the lace up detailed booties (this now says they are out of stock on the website)…? I haven’t heard a thing.

  15. amy

Does anyone else get so excited to run into target for these great deals that they come out of the store thinking…where did I park? Hahaha

    • Leslie

lol…I have to admit this has happened to me…a few times 🙂

    • Teri

…or worse forget their iphone in the restroom like i did on my 2nd round today! Dh called my phone while it was ‘lost’ at guest services and i got totally busted shopping (was told by dh ‘no more’ after the 3hr spree i did this morning). Target holiday clearance is addicting! I even dream about it.

  16. Jenny

I overheard a lady talking in the Christmas aisle earlier. She mentioned she was moving in a few weeks and has been stocking up on wrapping paper to use for packing…. A lot cheaper than packing paper. Just an FYI for anyone making a move. I thought it was a good idea

    • JA

That is a great idea! I’m definitely going to remember that.

    • spongemonkey

Hopefully she drained the Bieber paper.

  17. Nate

Got jr Watkins hand soap for .79 cents, 200 ct. LED lights $3.49, disney stockings $1.30, nutcracker $2.00 and jake wrappers .30 cents…so happy with the hand soaps

  18. Janie

Oh! So wish I could go to Target! Way too cold here!

  19. ihearthip

Stocked up on Market Pantry snacks at 90% off – the ones with crushed peppermint will be GREAT for Valentine’s Day! Christmas card packs were 10 cents!!! I also got 3 Hallmark Disney ornament sets of Sleeping Beauty for $1.50 each! Tons of crafts for the kids including make your own igloo and 2 really tall foam trees to decorate and use as centerpieces next yr. Also 2 rolls of wrapping paper that can pass for bdays @ 50 cents each.

  20. Karen

If you were looking for the limited edition chocolate dipped lays potato chips I saw them on ebay

  21. adam

My mom and i went to the Green ohio and Akron ohio Targets today they were 90% off we can a dozen of awesome Christmas Cds (.99), Stocking Stuffers (.10), 6 boxes of icicle lights (.79) and plaid bows(.50) to be put outside next year with the greenery. We paid $19.00 for all of it.

  22. Jennifer

I don’t remember food being a different percentage in year’s past. Is it new this year to do the 70/90 thing? Will food eventually go to 90% as well?

    • Sarah

Food always lags behind the rest, I don’t think it ever goes 90.

  23. Corey

Target in St. Louis had the Bell books for under $4 too! They were in with books but rang up 90% off. Also, I found some body sparkle sprays in the regular beauty section that also rang up 90% off. 🙂

  24. Savingirl

I went to Walmart and Target today. Got some nice décor at Walmart for $1 and cheaper. Target had wrapping paper for .30! YES! There were only 2 designs worth picking up. Got some gift tags and other miscellaneous items for .40 and below…I got a felt Advent Calendar for .30! A lot of the good stuff was gone, but I got some bows and a few things I refused to pay full price for during the holiday season. Stopped in Walgreens as well to do the Lubriderm deal, but they were 3.99 at my store…BOOOO! I did get some Disney wrapping paper for .99 and a few other Christmas items 75% off.

  25. Jeralyn

I was excited to get the Christmas M&Ms for .45 cents. I find they make a delicious addition to Monster Cookies (Maybe while watching Coffee with Collin?!?). THANKS Hip2Save for your awesome work!

  26. Jaclyn K.

Ahhhh, I’m trying to find Bell in Southern California. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack!! I have my Mom checking Targets out in Georgia too. lol

    • Jennifer

I don’t know how accurate it is, but you can check their website for this item and see what stores have them listed as in stock. I only know to do this as another commenter mentioned it. Good Luck.

      • Amanda

I found bell at the target in norco she was 3.50 and near an end cap by the girls Toys. They were in the clearnace area but not marked. They had 4 left about an hour ago. Hope you can get one if not email me i bought two and you can have one for $4.00 which is the price I paid with tax.

        • Jaclyn K.

Aww, thank you SO much for the tip and offer, but Norco is a little too far for me. I’m in the Los Angeles Area. 🙂 I went to a couple more Targets today, but still no luck. Everything was cleared out already.

    • Vivian

Yes, I did this! Look online, and if it shows in stock go to the store and if you can’t locate it, ask an associate to help. Just note that online is not as up to date as the Target associate’s scanner, but at least you can focus your search on stores that show some inventory as most show out of stock.

      • Jaclyn K.

Thanks for the tips ya’ll, but I already tried that. It’s either not accurate or maybe people pick them up and place them somewhere else in the store because I had no luck! The associate’s just look at me weird and don’t know what I’m talking about…lol

  28. adrienne

Is everyone aware that Target has a buy three get one free hair tie promo??? I Just got two of the plastic balls with hair ties and two three count hair ties on a cardboard hanger. .39 each and one free!!!!! 90% off

    • Adrienne

forgot to mention they are the Goody hair ties!!!

  29. Stacy

Went to my NorCal Target this morning to check if anything was left and was pleasantly surprised to find quite a bit.

Stuff was still coming out of their warehouse, mostly food items. However, as the boxes came out there was a line in front if the women trying to put the items out. Felt bad for them as they had the same two women disrupting them.

Anyhow, they had some power kids toothbrushes and body massagers for $.50. Picked up soft lips two packs for $.29. I got lucky with a few outdoors electrical products and lights. Some kids crafts, ribbon and bows were also some great scores.

    Good luck out there!

  30. Susie

I went to target yesterday, in Altoona, Pa, Christmas décor and candy was 90 percent off. Got lots of cards, bows, Bieber paper (my daughter loves him) but my best find was a Oster 3 tray buffet server, it was originally 49.99, but I scored it for 14.99

  31. Jamie

I got a wilton Mini Pie mold for $0.49 and 3 bags of M&Ms for free!!

  32. Fuzzy

I wanted to share a coupon story with people who understand. I went to Target yesterday and did many of these deals.

My coupons didn’t ring up right and I asked the cashier to double check they were all there. She called her manager because there were so many, and the balance was so low. The assistant manager came over to help.

The assistant manager refused to do any coupons that made things free. I asked politely that she reference the policy. She went and printed out her own copy of the cashier’s manual about coupons. It said explicitly that the cashiers have to apply the overage to the transaction, meaning the coupons could be used and they had to give me the overage – more than the public policy says.

The assistant manager still refused saying their store manager told them never to give something away for free. Loss prevention got involved and tried to physically intimidate me. They basically accused me of cheating and of fraud. I asked them to review the policy they printed out. They said that they agreed that is what the policy meant but still refused to do it. I asked them where it said I could not get something for free. They said it didn’t matter, they were going to do what their manager told them.

I confess I was irritated but I never raised my voice. I simply continued to refuse to back down.

Finally, a competent assistant manager came over and worked it all out by reading the policy, telling them that no one was being ripped off because the manufacturers will be paying the store, then set about applying the coupons. It was good the second assistant manager showed up when she did because the first assistant manager was shaking, nearly crying, looking like she was going to punch me in the face.

In the end, an hour long checkout and I walked out with 12 bags of M&Ms, 6 mix cookie bags, 4 up and up floss, 4 reach floss, 2 boxes of NicoDerm, and a smattering of Christmas stuff for free because of overages but with a bad reputation simply for using coupons.

As I was walking out, the assistant manager I started with yelled at me that I would never be allowed to do it again. I explained that if she had a problem with the corporate policy, she could call Target corporate.

I nearly cried. But then I ate some free M&M’s and that gave me just enough energy to write a complaint letter.

    • Jill

It sounds like not only were you in the right, but you managed to keep your cool and handle the situation with politeness and decorum. I doubt I would have had the courage to fight, even politely, and if I did, may never be able to show my face again at that store… but that’s just my introvert self speaking. 🙂 Well done handling a very difficult situation! (Oh, and the M&M comment made me giggle – chocolate fixes so much, doesn’t it?!)

    • Renee

I feel your pain. I too had a run in with a cashier about coupons. I wrote a letter to corporate. I was given an apology from corporate and a reference email/number to take with me for future run ins if that happens. I add coca cola to drink along with my m&ms:
      )

  33. Jenn

Ran into Target on my luch today – very picked over but I still scored some great deals! Decorative napkins with snowmen only on them for .22, party favors for .09, boxes of foam snow stickers for .50, dog toy for .29, tree skirt for $3.00, crafts for $1, and beggin strip bags for .25!

  34. Heather

I’ve been looking crazily for the Bell and Jingle interactive story pups on clearance with no luck. However, one of my local targets showed that there was stock online so I stopped in today to have them look on their inventory scanner thing and apparently the thing is showing they have 5 on hand! But I guess it didn’t say where and I looked on every end rack and went up and down very aisle looking and I couldn’t find them:(So does anyone know what the deal is when this happens? I thought maybe they were in the back but I asked and they said no. Ugh! Where the heck are these things?! Any tips are greatly appreciated.

    🙂 Heather

    • Jaclyn K.

I went to all the Targets in my area that said in stock and didn’t find Bell. They’re probably hiding somewhere in the store or a cart full of returns to put back on the shelf!

  35. Jeff Walker

I just called my local Target and they said it is regular price!

  36. Sheela

    Is target INF today
