As most of you know, 9/16/12, was the start of the new Walgreens Balance Rewards Program! Even sweeter, on 5/5/13, they started a new point system in which you can redeem your points once you reach just 1,000 points. Please head here to read all about it.
And, as of 3/28/13, you can earn 20 points for every mile you walk. Earn up to 1,000 Balance Rewards Points per month. Simply keep track of your steps here and link your Balance Rewards number to your account. Even sweeter, you may be able to snag some additional exclusive coupons! (Thanks, Emily!)

I think that must have been a misprint or something. The only $5 q I saw was in the paper this morning.
Nobody could find the coupon! My store had to change the price on all of the alka seltzer to $3.00 each since the dad said in store coupon and it wasn’t my fault lol so after I got the 6 boxes I would use the two coupons and receive the 6,000 points and only pay two OOP. So $3.00×6 = $18.00 – two $8.00 coupons= $2.00 and you get back 6.000 points since you purchased 6 of them. Pretty great deal!

I’ll be purchasing some more Huggies Diapers and Pull ups for my local woman’s shelter. I don’t have children (well a fur baby that doesn’t need diapers!!) and was always saddened to see my coupons for baby items and other items I didn’t use go to waste I send my expired’s to the troops and any others I save and watch for sales for the womens shelter. I went about 6 months ago now to donate a few items I had extra of, mostly cereal and toothpaste which they needed but had a few of, when I saw a small shelf out of the corner of my eye of one pack of diapers, two jars of baby food, and one box of rice cereal I asked the man running the food pantry part of the shelter how I could help and what items they see a significant need for, his reply anything you can find lady! I took it as a couponing challenge! I don’t think he thought he’d see me again, my first donation consisted of 100 jars of baby food, 30 boxes of rice cereal, 25 bags of diapers, 20 boxes of wipes, bottles, pacifiers, baby shampoo, wash, and other health and beauty items including woman’s shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, etc. I handed him two large Target bags and he said thank you, I said oh no there’s more, my entire back trunk of our Jetta Sport Wagon was filled I thought this big burly guy was going to cry! 6 months later and I do at least one large donation once a month and one smaller, the gentleman that runs the shelter now says “what did we coupon this month!?” and told me just how greatful the women have been for all the baby items. I’ve been fortunate enough to never need a shelter or food pantry but help my families pantry always be filled with couponing especially after our budget became tighter after I first started to become really ill with end stage liver failure from an autoimmune disease. I find in life we should pay it forward in what even seems like the smallest ways. As I said I’ll be buying Huggies and Pullups this week, I have a link to a $3 Pull Ups coupon if you ‘share’ or $2 if you don’t share the link. Happy Couponing Ladies!

I believe I know the answer to this but, when a coupon says 1 per purchase, if you were buying 2 products and had 2 coupons, it should be allowed, right? I was doing the Pond’s deal and had 2 of the $2.00 coupons but the cashier said it wouldn’t work since it said 1 per purchase (I don’t think she even tried to scan it, now that I think about it). didn’t really look closely at the coupon after she handed 1 back to me or I would have questioned it. I’m thinking it should have worked, right?
