wow… i love your site, Im a little taken back… with all thats going on with that show… with the words that have been said from one of the cast members…promoting such a thing is sad… very sad!!!!!!

    • Manny

she posted a deal. how does that translate into “promoting such a thing”. You still have your choice to buy or to not buy.

    • Em

One person stated his opinion. That does not mean that A&E has those opinions or anyone else on that show for that matter. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, even if they are “politically incorrect”. Ultimately it is the viewers choice whether to watch or not.

As far as I see, the only thing the show is promoting is a strong, unwavering faith in God. And that is exactly what this country needs!!!

      • Potato

What this country needs… we have a separation of church and state for a reason. And let me tell you honey, god made gay people too, so they deserve the same human rights as given to the heteros who discriminate against them.

          Potato you rock!!!

We love Duck Dynasty. I love that my kids can watch it. It’s hilarious. We got seasons 1-3 Black Friday for $8 each, so we’ve been watching it since then. Thank you so much for posting! It’s a lot cheaper than getting cable.

Ohh…..I love this show! I have long been an advocate for grown men marrying teenage girls and now Phil is bringing that belief to the public as well! It is wonderful how he preaches that grown men should look to 15 year olds when deciding who will marry. He’s right! They will obey more and be easier to control, I don’t care what the liberals say!

And I’m sure he is right about what he said about black people, too. They really did have it good in the 50s, just picking cotton and not having any rights. Why it isn’t that way anymore, I’m just not sure!

      🙂 ^^^^^

Marjorie I’m in love with you!!!! Good show girl!

    • Potato

I know, it’s nice to know that Piper can get married in like, 9 years from now 😀

For all you Duck Dynasty haters, his comments that everyone is so upset about were not on the actual show. They are totally out of context too. I would guess that you also don’t watch anything else with people that make offensive comments regarding large groups of people (any TV or film with Alec Baldwin, Jason Biggs, Mel Gibson, Tracy Morgan, Lars Von Trier, 50 Cent… seriously this list goes on and on). Or what about all the famous people that have done truly awful things and yet people still watch them? So the man lives a good life, works hard, stays married, treats her well, raises his kids and grandkids, and ends up with a successful show on TV. Not to mention, they make millions of dollars, and they don’t go around spending it like the Kardashians. They actually do a lot for charity. It just seems to me like a whole lot of hypocrisy to get super outraged about Phil Robertson, who for the most part seems like a good man, and then ignore other stupid quotes just because it’s a liberal that says it. Guess what folks, he’s just another human. Whoa! Also, his comments have absolutely nothing to do with the separation of church and state. What a serious misunderstanding of a law! The separation of church and state doesn’t mean Christians can’t speak just because you don’t like what they’re saying.

      • Potato

Maybe you should reread my comment and the one it replied to. Separation of church in state was referring to “a strong, unwavering faith in God. And that is exactly what this country needs!!!”. No, this whole country does not need an unwavering faith in god because that does not suit all people in this country. THIS IS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE CONCEPT OF SEPARATION OF THE CHURCH AND STATE. What a serious misunderstanding of a law you have!

And read the comment a third time, not one person said or even implied that Christians or anyone else don’t have the right to speak. But feel free to copy and paste the quote from above since you seem to think it happened!
