[h2s_box]I was so excited when I went to Kroger this evening (Memphis) with all Christmas items marked down to 75% off. The huge 42oz bags of M&Ms were marked down to $3.09 from $10.29 and I had my 2 coupons for $2.50 off a single bag 15oz or larger. Yippee – made off with 2 large bags for $1.75 with taxes![/h2s_box]

Come back and let us know if you’re able to snag this same deal at your Kroger! 🙂

(Thanks, Marie!)

There wasn’t much in the way of anything other than candy and candles. They also had the Christmas bags of Ghirardelli on clearance. Holiday flavored Cliff bars were 4/$1 regularly $1.49 each.

unrelated story – My first thought was someone with a lot of time could separate those and have M&Ms for valentines and M&Ms for St Patty’s! When I got married I envisioned lots of vases with small black gravel with pink roses at the reception. I found black aquarium gravel but only 2 small bags. So I bought a huge bag of the blue and black mixed gravel thinking surely I could google a way to dye it. A couple weeks later I came home one night to find my mom separating the tiny gravel by hand. I told her she was crazy and it would take forever, she looked at me like I was the crazy one. She was nearly done. I’ll never forget her doing that, she rocks! (no pun intended) The arrangements were beautiful but sadly that was the beginning of all the crazy things she did for that wedding.

To tell the truth, I bought 4 bags of Xmas chocolate chips (on sale for $1 each) – they have red, green and regular chips in them. I bought them with the plan of separating them for cookies for Valentines Day, St. Pats Day and the just have the regular ones for whenever. Glad I’m not the only one that looks at things that way. :0) lol

What my husband and I found were the glade air fresheners and febreze ones for $.79, I got 4 febreze (only 4 like coupons allow to use in a transaction) and 9 glade ones, we paid less than $2 for all of them. This was at Ralphs in So. California 🙂

To the story about separating them. I just did that! I had gotten the bigger bags on a fabulous deal at target after Christmas when they went 70 percent off. My daughter just had a ninja turtle birthday party and I used the green ones in those clear favor bags and put ribbon around them in the color of the turtle’s masks. It turned out so cute and I’m using the red ones for her Valentines at school. It didn’t take long at all to separate. 🙂

Love this idea for the ninja turtles!

My Kroger has only had paper and a few decorations for the last 2 weeks. Nothing edible.

I found $.29 smart phone wallet/wristlets at my Kroger on Sat. AM. Going to use them as teacher gifts for end of the year. They are cute hard wallets with enough room for a smart phone to slip in. Our Kroger has a clerance section and they were in the bottom of a pile of lightbulbs!

I have tried 3 Kroger in the Toledo area and they have nothing left 🙁

My Kroger in Houston didn’t have much left and what is left of the candy is only 50% off. Christmas decorations were only 30% off for the longest time so I couldn’t see it being wiped out so quickly. I’m thinking they got rid of a lot so they could put all the Valentines Day stuff out.

Too much red dye is what I see in these christmas candies

My Kroger randomly had carts full of christmas bows this past weekend! They were 25 cents a bag for a dozen bows!!!!! I had been so bummed out that my target didnt have any bows or ribbon on decent clearance, but Kroger came through!!

I was so excited…last night at my Kroger I got the Presto Pizza Pizzaz for only $15 (reg retail at all stores is $49.99). I bought my hubby one of these on our 2nd anniversary and it just bit the dust. Yeah for anniversary gift year 10 =) BTW, we eat pizza once or twice a week so we used it hard.
