We always get a couple free at Harbor Freight every time we stop in. 🙂

      What is Harbor Freight

      • Craig

Harbor Freight is a store that sells alot of chinese inferior tools. But do have a few hidden gems. -like their aluminum racing floor jacks and stands! i/e.

  5. Stephanie

Do these work well? How bright are they?

    • Craig

These work ok, they are cheap and dim compared to the newer typle LED’s. The led’s in this type are what I consider old school. Light up straight ahead but don’t fan out like a reg. light bulb does. The really good ones use SMT chips. -Meaning, if you look at this one, it looks like tiny bulbs. The SMT ones look like micro-chips. These later ones are far superior since they are a much brighter and they spread out the light alot more too. From head-on light (say like 35*) to fan-out (say about 160*).
If your buying these solely on cost, they work. If your buying them to upgrade your flashlights, Look for the far superior style. HTH

      • Craig

Ooops, Sorry, not SMT, they are called SMD leds. Close enough. lol These are cheap and inexpensive for sure!! Not doubting that one bit.

    • Dawn

Stephanie, I agree with Katherine! These mini LED flashlights are cute and fun. Plus you really can’t beat the price! The colors are cute and the lights are super bright. I’m using my 4 sets for gifts and treasure chest prizes for my 3rd grade students. Awesome purchase! 😃

Stephanie ~ They work really well and are very bright! I picked up a set last week when the deal was posted… Within the hour of placing my order, they were available for pickup at Home Depot. I am really happy with them. I have a few thru out the house but plan on letting the kids use them come summer time for hide and go seek!!:)

    • Stephanie

You’re all so great! Thanks for your responses. I was thinking of using them at night outside as where we live can be very dark. It sounds more like a fun item than a great light source. Great to know! Thanks again:):)

      • Craig

Stephanine, if you already have a Maglite i/e, Id highly suggest going on Amazon on looking up: Maglite led replacement. I bought one of the TerraLUX led bulbs, and those are AMAZING for what you said. Take a look at the revues they are very good. A ton brighter then stock, which in-turn, light the path much further ahead and another bonus, is the longer life on the batteries too!. HTH

        • Craig

These are definitely on the other end of the price spectrum, but if you scroll down near the reviews, you will see alot of pics and also video of the difference, making them a obvious choice. The high star reviews speak for themselves!!

I got this deal last week. My daughter’s 11th birthday is coming up and she’s having a sleep over and we’re doing a scavenger hunt in the neighborhood. These are going to be GREAT for the event as a their take home gift!

    • Mary

      That’s a cute idea!

  8. Debbie

None in my area. Oh, well. I am getting used to not finding the posted deals around where I live! Even Target’s toy sale is only at 30% off.

    • Summer

What area do you live in?

      • Debbie

        Northeast Ohio

        • Mary

          Where in NE Ohio?

          • Deb

            Eastern suburb of Cleveland

  9. Me

I wish we had a HD close by, my kids would love these!

  10. cathy

Got mine last week…online order was ready for pickup in no time….using for next Christmas…what a great buy…

  11. ma

Is it the same price if you just go into the store and pick them up without ordering them online?

    • Dawn

Yes ma. Same price, if they have them in stock. You may have to ask where they’re located, because they aren’t with the other flashlights.

  12. Mourrene

I wanted these as backup flashlights in case if emergency. Are these too cheap and flimsy for that purpose? Should I keep looking?

    • April

We just picked up these flashlights at Home Depot today. I am way impressed for only $0.75 per flashlight. They are really bright and seem fairly solid for the price. My mom gave the grandkids similar flashlights for Christmas, and these are much better. Well worth the money.

      • Craig

Added to what April said, they will work for your application. They’re cheap and are decent.

        • Mourrene

          Thanks!

  13. Amanda K.

Thank you! My daughter has requested The Incredibles as her birthday party theme and these will be perfect in goody bags for all the night time heroics of the little super hero guests. 🙂

  14. Holly

Ordered mine and it said In Stock then got an email saying my order was cancelled 😁

    • SoxGirl1029

The same thing happened to me. It said there were 33 in stock at my store and then they cancelled my order.

  15. Nicole

Just ordered 2 hope they keep my order !! Thanks Collin!!
