Dave Ramsey is amazing! If you are trying to get out of debt, save for a big purchase, find the best way to save for your childs collage, best way to save for your retirement, money infesting, and more you really need to check out his books. Straight forward easy to follow steps to financial freedom. Something we need to start teaching our kids early on to. Went to a live event of his and never looked at money or investing the same again! 🙂

*money INVESTING* though I’m sure no one would mind a money infestation! LOL! 😉

What book do you buy? I understand he has several. Which is the one you recommend. I’ve heard great things about him so I want to get started on his program

If you are looking to get debt free, get his ‘total money makeover’ book. Takes you through his steps, easy read. Be prepared, you will get fired up!! This is coming from someone who read it 8 years ago and became debt free in 18 months and has stayed that way ever since 🙂

While it may not always be “new” information. I always get inspired to get back on track when I reread or browse his “Total Money Makeover book”. I don’t follow all of his rules.. for example, we have credit cards, but I do find his books motivational when all I want to do is stock up on deals. : )

I got this for my 3yr and 5yr old and they love it! They are so excited about doing their chores and be able to give their own money that they have earned. This is an awesome program!

I just started his Financial Peace University class and already I’m excited and ready to become debt free! He really is amazing at breaking it all down in a simple fashion. I bought his 13 cd set and book for $25 recently from his site…great deal!

I started this recently and bought his budget tool. Honestly, I could do it in a spreadsheet just about as easily. I use quicken so I put in annual payments like homeowners insurance and Christmas budget as monthly goals that get deducted from my checking balance in small increments each month.(still in my account but don’t show up in my quicken balance) I’m amazed at how much money I used to spend without even thinking. Looking forward to being debt free! The book was very handy and keeps me focused.
