When there is a BOGO, can you use two coupons? Or just one? …or does it depend on the store? Thx!!
I should clarify…when the coupons are for one item (not like the 2/1 in this particular deal…)
Depends on the store. I don’t have any problems at cvs using, say 2 $.50/1 coupons when there is a bogo free sale. Walgreens gives me trouble, the register beeps and sometimes the cashier will push it through and other times they give the coupon back . Rite Aid does not allow a cents off coupon to apply toward the free item on a bogo free sale.

I’ve used two coupons on a bogo at Rite Aid and CVS. It works as long as they don’t scan your card first. Some cashiers will insist on scanning the card first.
From the policy on that subject:
When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offers, if required by applicable state laws
My Walgreens always lets me use a coupon on a free item. From what I read, I think I might have a good store to deal with though. All but one of the cashiers at my store are wonderful to deal with.
